When I was in grade 2 I flipped a milk jug and it did not land so some guys said I was gay. I WAS STILL CLOSETED!!! idk how they knew or thought they could just assume that!!
Kids make no sense at that age. It was probably just a word he heard from others and decided to use it because he knew it was bad but didnt actually know what it meant.

I have really, truly, bigoted parents who would never really accept an LGBTQ+ person (even if they’re nice to them). I also have an LGBTQ+ friend (they’re non-binary and azalian, which means they like girls) who I haven’t told my parents about yet and will not because they have specifically asked me not to. The reason this is relevant is because recently I have been questioning my sexuality and think I MIGHT (emphasis on might) be pan. I’m scared to come out as anything other than straight and cis to my parents. I don’t think they’ll kick me out, but it would never be the same between us and I don’t want to lose them. Ian anyone else in this situation?
hello hiiii ! Im really sorry your parents arent the best with lgbt stuff. You don't have to come out to them. They don't really need to know who you like etc. Only if things got serious with someone and you wanted to take things further, bring them home etc would I consider doing telling them. But if you do chose to tell them, you might be surprised since you said you know they wouldnt kick you out. Sometimes parents just need educating and a lot of time to process things. Wishing you the best on figuring your sexuality out journey!
You don't have to tell them unless you feel ready to. You could always wait a few years. Or you could try writing them a letter! In the letter write about how you feel, and mention why you are telling them about it (because you want them to support you and accept you).
