Like all vending machines, sometimes it rips off the customer. Why not add an angled piece of plastic to guide the reward from the chute into a an upside-down frisbee? And also perhaps put a mat down to give the birds better traction on the slippery table top.

Great, but in some attempts the bird doesn't get it reward, you can make the hole bit bigger.
