    Brett's second successful head-to-head match! (Out of 7 tries.)
    Charles also has two wins (out of only 3 tries!).
    Richard also has two wins (out of 14 tries).
    Betty has three wins (8 tries).
    And the current best super-matcher is:
    Bert Convey with 4 (out of 9 tries).
    Other semi-regulars with 2 head-to-head wins:
    Jo Ann Pflug 2 out of 6 tries.
    Jack Klugman 2 out of 4 tries.
    Stu Gilliam 2 out of 5 tries.
    *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 to 74, excluding the lost/missing episodes 31, 32, 33.

      Only 1/7 for Dickie Dawson early on, in baseball terms he was hitting under .166 for the season.
      I thought Jo Ann and Jeff Nichols had a run of success during his 9 game winning streak.

    Lol. The questions in this ep were hilarious! Loved it.
    That Helen had some good answers. Too bad she was playing with MG's panel. "You're the only one i've ever shared an apple with". Nice.
    I have to say thought that it was weird of Sunny to say Valentine's heart for her head to head with Richard. I kept thinking broken. It was closer than her answer was. Glad she did match with old Brett. I thought she would say suit but she came through for Sunny.

    I think it's so funny how Brett always refers to her husband as Jack Klugman, never just Jack.

    • @amberola1b
      @amberola1b Před 4 lety +5

      Maybe she does that because some people may not know who she's married to if she just only mentioned his first name since she IS married to someone famous

    • @amberola1b
      @amberola1b Před 4 lety +3

      I think she does it because if she just said Jack and not his last name people may not know who she's married to because he is a famous actor.

      I think its just a thing she does with people's names. She also sometimes says Betty White and Charles Nelson Reilly when they're sitting right there. No deep meaning.

    Coleman-Randall, round 1, question B: "The advantages of property ownership: she's a RANCHER." (Bzzt!)
    Question A: "I said his DAME OF MALTA, and I expect you historians in the audience to explain what that's a euphemism for." (Bzzt!) "Correct: not toys."
    Round 2, question B: "Well, SEEN, of course; wasn't that the point?" (Bzzt!)
    Question A: (just holding up the card, probably) BABY
    Super Match, part 1: CLEANERS
    Part 2: SUIT
    Coleman-Cox, round 1, question A: "Jack's wife stole my answer. YOU!" (Bzzt!)
    Question B: "Come on, Mrs. Jack, stop stealing my answers. REPRIEVE!" (Bzzt!)

    You know, it makes sense that the Champion, who won giving the worst answers, only because the Challenger's answers were even more lame, could not win the biggie with Richard and his intelligent answers, but with Brett and her goofy answers! But, I was happy for both of that 'odd couple'! PS - Actually, the Challenger's first answer of "vegetarian" was a great one and should have been a winner.

      *"A dinghy is a type of small boat, often carried or towed by a larger vessel."*
      The answer "The admiral likes to play with his _ding(h)y_ in the bathtub is a double entendre variation of Jo Ann's answer which was Boat.
      If the contestant had said Boat, Ding(h)y could and should have matched.
