  • A Husqvarna 390XP cutting a 450mm log. Good tough professional saw for logs 500mm and larger size with an average cut size of around 600mm. A power packed pro saw when used in cutting logs for firewood.

this is very good machine! What wood species is it? Is it hard or soft wood?
16 sec is a good result!

Hi Alexey. The timber we are cutting there is Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata) an Australian hardwood. The log we used in the video had been dead for many many years and was recovered from a local farmers paddock, so well seasoned and extra hard. Jarrah is an excellent firewood timber, tough and strong long lasting construction timber and a very beautiful furniture timber.

Light weight for its size, power to burn and will work all day. Great all round saw. With a 24" bar it will just rip through even the toughest of firewood logs.
