The hero JinMar managed to make a .sand that can play this leftover .fsm in-game!! Modders' Heaven Discord Server: / discord Modders' Heaven on Twitter: / moddersheaven_ Lore: / caplag
ain't no way they completed this much of the cutscenes and then proceed to actually abandon it forever, also it seems like this is actually just one last mission and not something like 25 percent of the main game's length. I see no reason why they couldn't have completed it without kojima
It's probably missing AI for Salahantropus, most of the maps and all the code for the traps that were placed in-game by the children and who's to say that there weren't more cutscenes or dialogue to record?
Based on the script and the dev of TPP, the cutscenes probably were done first, a former dev said the DLC got cut early in dev. The fact it's missing voicelines from Kiefer, which were recorded pretty early in the dev of TPP, is pretty telling
@@lordemmerich i 100% blame the staff, they are the ones who wanted to make a new game for "fun" instead of expanding mgs v with multiple episodes and quality of life next gen improvements to it's open world
Damn this is so wild to see actually being in game and not just watching it off the blu-ray. Bummer there is not really the map left over anywhere. It'd be really fun to see the entire map section this was going to be in.
@@deadspacho3064 i think it's about an AI who could generate a facial expression base on the way someone is talking, but how the hell can someone make that work in a game like mgsv

@@noone5454 None, and that's been the problem that JinMar is solving for us! I'm sure you meant .fsm, and we have only four, all of the four cutscenes we see on the Blu-Ray - the Final Standoff, Snake shooting Eli, Diamond Dogs leaving Eli behind, and the post-credits scene of Eli and Mantis. So far, JinMar has made .sand files for half of these. Hopefully though, we'll see the other two in-game in no time! From what we know, there were meant to be more cutscenes for the mission that were never shown on the Blu-Ray and may never have been made: briefing on the helicopter, disembarking on the island, a transition between phases of the fight where Eli activates Sahelanthropus' Sepukku Mode, enriching the depleted uranium in its armor, and another cutscene that transitions from Sahelanthropus exploding in half to the scene where Snake shoots Eli. We have nothing left of those scenes except for descriptions.
Thank you!! JinMar's an absolute legend for this. All we have is a few assets from Survive, though actually most of them we don't even see in the Blu-Ray demo, like the prisoner cage and spike fences in Forsaken Ruins.
Dragging it, kicking and screaming, within the bounds of feasibility in the nearest of futures is the dream! Just a few days ago it was a mere dream to get these animations to play in-game, after all.
hmm i don't know nothing about programming but considering the actual Kingdom flies map is in Metal gear survivive, peoplr maybe could make that mission playable? well, a fan made version of it

This would be a great dlc if konami not a jerk towards kojima, after gaining popularity the phantom pain they try milking out the franchise after kojimas kick out 😂

Konami being konami I guess.

This is brilliant!
The facial animations are gonna be a tough cookie if you chose to tackle them.
only if AI was more popular, it could be used to do all the fluff

So amazing
Ahhhh love it cap . I hope we can play the missions 😮😅
Me too!
Great work by JinMar as always! I'm curious, how many .sand files from Mission 51 are left over the files?

Now thats really cool, just a shame that the whole section of the map is like gone lmao

Wait, how much of the mission is actually in the gamefiles?
Only a tape about the Intel Team's search for Eli and the unsorted, scrambled animation tracks of the cutscenes you see on the Blu-Ray.
