LOL, that old market based logic is just bad. Market is not some independent entity that can't be affected and influenced on, both positivly and negativly. And todays classical audience market has been influenced with bad singers being pushed to front by marketing for over half of decade. So your argument doesn't hold it's ground.

Netrebko has been singing important operatic roles since 1994 (re: her wonderful Liudmyla), so she's had a big international career for 24 years! That's more than the entire career of some less fortunate sopranos. And then we still have to bear ignorant people saying she has no technique, is a talentless fraud and will destroy her voice completely in just a few years... LOL
