    Bulls record without Jordan in 2nd 3 peat (1995-96 ~ 1997-98) : 0 - 0
    To begin with, Jordan rarely missed games, especially during the 2nd three-peat, where he was almost semi-forced to play every game from the season to the finals due to the rotation of teammates in the injury front. 😂The number of absent in the 1st three-peat was also a result of Phil Jackson forcing Jordan to miss a few games, as he was demotivated after winning back-to-back titles and Phil Jackson re-energized Jordan's motivation for the 3-peat by showing him that the team loses when he doesn't play.😂

    No matter how you slice it , Jordan did it better . Jordan lead his team better than any team lebron lead , regular season and post season Jordan got 72 wins , 69 wins , and of course 6-0 n finals to Lebrons 4-6 . And lebron picked and chooses his teams and coaches and players , so I don’t wanna hear about the “team” thing . Lebron stacked the deck n his favor and still came up short . The narrative lebron wins more with less , ok well he didn’t win more with more so that’s another false narrative . Lebron wasn’t ever as good as a 2 way player more than Jordan was consistently. Mj has more scoring titles , dpoy, mvps , fmvps , defensive all nba selections . Jordan has higher career ppg in regular and post season , and Jordan was more efficient than lebron was . Michael Jordan’s career really speaks volumes to his dominance he had over the league , and Lebrons career really speaks volumes to his longevity .

    MJ sure was dominant on the ball but he was the most efficient scorer of his team. He can drive to the basket, catch and shoot and no wasted movements or dribbles. It’s a different feel when MJ releases the ball, you’re almost certain it’s gonna go in even in crunch time. Lebron on the other hand doesn’t have that kind of effect, that’s why teams that were more defensive dared him to shoot from outside coz there’s a bigger chance of him missing it and even worse during crunch time.

    • @TheRealMindCrime
      @TheRealMindCrime  Před měsícem +1

      I know. Bron is 40 and finally learned to shoot a 3 because like you said for years no one was guarding him outside of the paint. They gave him the Ben Simmons treatment lol. When Portland tried that strategy for 1 game Jordan lit em up with endless 3s. They're cut from a different cloth.

    When MJ was moved to point guard he had consecutive triple doubles, so many consecutive triple doubles that the record still stands today, and during the streak of triple doubles he had one game that broke up two strings of games with consecutive triple doubles, had he had a triple double on that one game, it would have been an even more unbreakable statistical record, but what he did do, the triple doubles streaks still stand today.... Anybody who says he couldn't pass and couldn't and didn't make assists dont know what they are talking about, he could assist, he could rebound, steal and block, not just score points, MJ was fun to watch...and it was almost 1 on 5 because the other teams double and triple teamed MJ to try to stop him. And he wasn't going around flopping either! 😁

    • @TheRealMindCrime
      @TheRealMindCrime  Před měsícem +1

      100% on all of this. MJ can pass great but he's the greatest scorer on the floor every night so he's gonna shoot if he has it. As he should. Yeah those stacked triple doubles were awesome. He was still MJ but looked like the other MJ from LA at the same time. If he just wanted stats then he'd demand to play PG and stack it but he wanted to win so he played into the triangle. He's a winner.

      only Magic average a higher assist per game like 13 apg or something

    so why do you think the lakers work so much better without lebron? cause honestly i havent seen an NBA game since forever and only really see highlights. cause i would imagine its harder to just swap how the team plays the game every time lebron sits out, so it prob means that they would play the same way just without him. then that just means that lebron is the very weak link in a system that designed around him.

    Lebron has his team box out for him to get the rebounds, they have to work their ass off for him to toss them a pass from the top of the arc while he is unguarded. They have to play 4 on 5 when he doesn’t make it back on defense, even in the half court they play 4 on 5. Taking rest days to skip tough games. Throwing team mates and coaches under the bus.

    @bananaman5668 Před měsícem +1

    I mean the 2013 Heat are actually mentioned as one of the greatest teams ever. And unlike the early 70s Bucks squad they actually won multiple rings and made 4 straight finals.
    However that fact is mostly due to it being a stacked Super team with 2 other Top 10 Players willing to play around Lebrons system and not really because he was that great of a team player who is able to fit into a system and make his teamates better.
    But you hit the nail right on the head with the 71 Bucks.
    They only won 1 championship and made only 2 finals in 4 straight years of them winning 59+ games in a weak 70s era.
    One of those years they had to go against the 72 Lakers so it was understandable.
    But there was another year where they lost in the 1st round to a sub 50 win team in 6 games after going up 2-1. Sorta similar to the 2011 Heat Choke but just even worse.
    However that Bucks team also completely missed the playoffs the year after their 2nd finals appearance in 1975 after they lost Oscar Robertson even though they still had their SuperStar Kareem there playing 65 games.
    And that’s because even though Oscar was Old he was still one of the best players in the NBA when he got there and was willing to play a more secondary role and sacrifice his stats to play more team centric basketball. And the leadership and playmaking ability that he had couldn’t be replaced.
    If anyone’s play style as the teams leading superstar needs to be questioned it’s Kareem’s.
    Because Leadership and Playmaking are two of the most important things when it comes to being a team player that can seamlessly fit into a system.
    And unlike Lebron and most other Top 10 Players ever that’s just something Kareem doesn’t have a lot of.
    Kareem’s time in LA before Magic proved that how unadaptable he was to a system. Because even if he had solid players around him unless they could fit or compliment his stagnant Camped in the Post play style then it wasn’t going to work.
    1977 was the definitely the worst roster Kareem ever played with his entire career and one that didn’t really have any good players around him so he was pretty much the entire offense that year. Yet 77 was also hands down Kareem’s best year on the Lakers pre Magic. Having the best record in the NBA at 53-29 (lowest league leading record in 82 game history btw) and making it to conference finals (Where they became the only team to not be able win even 1 game against the eventual champion Blazers in the playoffs)
    And then even after he got more help from Norm Nixon and HOFers Adrian Dantly and Jamaal Wilkes the next 2 years the Lakers played even worse and won even less. Failing to surpass a 50+ win pace when Kareem played and failing to make it out of the 2nd round.
    The less the Offense was centered around Kareem. The worse they did. Pre 80s Kareem’s teams also have an abysmal record without him.
    Kareem only really played one way his entire career and didn’t really change it much at all outside of just scaling it back when he got older and no longer had the motor to be the team’s number 1 option.
    Kareem is Great. Unquestionably Top 10 all time. But his GOAT status needs to be seriously put into question if anyone is going to actually give Magic the proper credit for being the leader and engine of Showtime.
    Kareem’s GOAT case was in his prime during the 70s when he was the guy running the show.
    Not when he was playing second fiddle to Magic in the 80s.
    Because if you wanna say both were equal then not only does Magic probably not even have a legitimate top 10 case. Let alone top 5.
    But in that case we’d probably have to reevaluate the way we distribute credit for winning rings as a Robin. And by that change in logic. Pippen would probably be top 10-15 all time at minimum.
    If you want to still put Kareem top 5 because of the argument he didn’t have enough help in the 70s then that’s fine.
    But that should be the main argument. Instead of just blindly reading off his resume as most fans do.

    • @TheRealMindCrime
      @TheRealMindCrime  Před měsícem +2

      Nice comment! My struggle with assessing Cap is that I never got to watch him in the 70s which was his prime. I only saw him with the Lakers with Magic steering the ship. He was still great but much slower in LA due to age. I never saw a whole game of him and the big O playing together.

    The biggest problem with making the argument for Jordan is even if you hate the guy and make the argument based of facts and evidence even to the point you’re splitting hairs … you sound like a Jordan fan or Stan.
    That’s how incredibe Jordan is ….. just using base logic Jordan destroys everyone especially bill russel because bill russel wasn’t the main factor when it came to winning and losing.
    Russel’s teams were stacked and never changed because there was no free agency so Russel never had to mesh with different personalities or push anyone to greatness.
    Lebron has shown that he doesn’t make his teammates better because if they constantly need him to be efficient especially when he was off and d wade and bosh were on shows how much both had to change their game.
    Lebron James has no argument for being the goat simply based general easy arguments let alone highly detailed arguments that split hairs.

    The comparison is just a media fabrication of the worse kind and LeBron is up there only because some body wants him there as by watching him play he's not even close to MJ in any aspect of the game besides 3 points which btw many of them are uncontested so I don't really know if that counts as for instance he is 10% less efficient than MJ from the line...
    Up until 2016 nobody would even thought about that and I believe if the Warriors were 70-12 instead 73-9, nobody wouldn't ever think about comparing LeBron to MJ they took the chance to try and put LeBron over MJ since "he beat" a 73 wins team. Kudos on LeBron for that famous block, but LeBron in a 7th game final scoring with just a 37% efficiency from the field and 20% from 3 is beyond abysmal for a player of his caliber at the peak of his career , he actually missed a layup and a jump hook extremely close to the basket in the last 3 minutes of that game, if he was as good as MJ he would score from mid range at least twice in as many minutes or at least make that layup which was actually an offensive foul as he grabbed Steph's jersey.
    Many compare Kyrie bailing out LeBron with his 3 pointer in that 7th game to Paxon in 93 or Kerr in 97 but let's go back and watch those games please, aside that MJ visibly played better than LeBron on both ends of the floor in both finals games, but in terms of stats, in 93 MJ was 50% from the field and 60% from 3 and he scored all points for the Bulls in the 4th besides Paxon's 3 pointer and in 97 at 34 years of age (so 2 years older than LeBron in 2016) afted the flu game he grabbed 11 rebounds (with Dennis on that team , remember that!) scored 39 pts at 43% from the field 25% from 3, both final games Paxon and Kerr didn't bail out MJ, they were instrumental for the Bulls to win but MJ was as great as ever and in any of those instances MJ never said he felt he was the greatest player of all time.

      Thats one thing i respect about kobe and mj so much. And bird and magic too. They alwaya respected the previous greats and never said they are the goat. Only Lebron pulled that crap. If he was the goat then maybe i can let it slide but he's not even close

      @@TheRealMindCrime I totally agree, LeBron retracted few years ago, but still nobody in the past ever even attempted to hint to feel being the greatest of all time, MJ in particular never ever said that, he always said that he thought it was disrespectful to the greats of the past to say he was the goat, I'm a huge Bulls and MJ fan an I was 24 when LeBron started his career in the NBA and I remember being hyped and actually I thought since MJ retired it'd be great to see a new face who could be potentially a rival of Kobe (whom I loved!) who was the greatest at that point (and btw LeBron didn't even pass Kobe in my view!) but as I saw that huge guy making huge dunks and acting way over his head like as if he was already the Goat at 20 years of age, that didn't sit well with me and actually I really believe he is probably the most overrated player of all time, he will end his career with many people putting him in 2nd place mostly for his total stats, but by watching him play I think he cracks the 10th position barely, he is a glorified version of Karl Malone if Karl was as cocky as LeBron is but less efficient from mid and less efficient as a defender.

      I know that. But he was head coach and implemented Tex's offense and convinced MJ to try it. Jordan was hesitant to trust at first cuz he liked Doug but it ended up working great for the Bulls.

      Scoring and winning are the goals of the game. He scored the most but also led his team to the promised land and won each time. Thats how you conquer the game of basketball. Bron gets close a lot but crumbles at the final boss.

    I haven't even watched the video yet but I already know that you're going to shit on somebody. Why can't we just respect both men. They both gave it their all for us every single game okay. That's all that should matter. Enough with this old vs. young non-sense I've been listening to for the last 30 years. At first it was the old guard disrespecting Michael Jordan and the new guard disrespecting Wilt Chamberlain and now it's the old guard disrespecting Lebron James and the new guard disrespecting Michael Jordan. Stop It!!! All of you!!! I've had it!!!

      Thanks for the comment man. I loved Bron til he started calling himself the GOAT. Now I'm proving why he's full of it. I never disrespect any of the other greats but thats because they didn't disrespect the previous greats to make themselves appear greater than.

    According to Lebron super fans and media puppets their king is the unluckiest player of all time lol. He's never been in the right situation with great teammates, great coaches and great organizations lol. It's funny because no player ever basically controlled everything always searching for the best situation to win as much as Lebron did after his first stint in Cleveland. Now we have to hear him making more excuses and pushing more propaganda with his new podcast wirh mr "plumbers and firemans" himself JJ Redick lol.
