10:18 that’s because Chara, who is possessing Boyfriend, can’t be truely killed due to their strong determination and they’ll respawn to the last save point they had upon death, the only way to combat this was Sans getting more determination than them by gaining execution points and LOVE (aka Level of Violence) by killing monsters, including his own brother, this is the same for the original Dusttale AU except with Chara possessing Frisk instead of Boyfriend
Why do people call Dusttale an AU? It's not, rather it's an alternate timeline of Undertale

I think at 8:57 when sans says, “you gotta be faster next time” isn’t a mockery of Papyrus, but to the human. Because Dustsans still, in some way, cares about Papyrus, but he needs to kill him, to get stronger to kill the human. But if the Human killed Papyrus, they would get stronger and sans would be without that needed EXP. Dust doesn’t really WANT to kill everyone, but just figured it was the best way to both make himself stronger and the human weaker. So that way the human could never beat him, and HAVE to do a Neutral or Pacifist run (This is his Strategy in normal Undertale, like how his last attack is “nothing” so that way, the player has to “give up” and start all the way over, and do a different run.) but sans kinda starts liking the killing usually in this AU after a while, and he hates that he starts to like it, making his determination to stop the human even greater.
Dusttale.. isn't an AU though? It's an alternate timeline of Undertale
@@syyruppallaround I’m pretty sure that’s what an AU is anyway. Any story that’s not canon is usually just referred to as an AU. Like horrortale and Last breath

@@syyruppallaround I meant to say those specifically because those take place in an Undertale-esc areas, just with a twist to it. I’ve just always called them AU’s since I felt they had nothing to do with the actual Undertale game and I’ve always seen them been called AU’s by others. So I guess that involves anything with Dusttale or Disbelief Papyrus.
I do get what you’re saying though, cause it’s not to the extent of like Underswap, Underfell,and Underfresh which I assume you mean are the actual AU’s.

The amount of people that don't even know that this is the same Dusttale mod from a year ago is insane.
This was my personal favorite mod and now that it has a demo for 3.0 I am more hyped than ever to see the final product!
Friday NIght Dustin will be in my top 5 mods for sure.

glad i saw the dusttale remastatered before this
This mod was crazy, the music, the art, everything was great the developers went all out.
one thing i really like about the last song, is the hard part is actually really fair, because from the beginning it was slowly adjusting you to a faster speed, and lets you memorize the notes slowly, then it REALLY picks up and you notice its going faster, then the ending was sorta like a "final standoff" with insane amounts of notes being flung at you. and you just gotta gawk in awe as you watch papyrus just spamming notes as your still finishing his last part. but its not impossible because your brain remembers "oh we already did this part, its just faster".
then the ending is just a chill part to calm your nerves after that insane mashing. and the song itself is just 10/10, like the others.
Dustin' has gotten a massive glow-up, and it's really goooooood 😎
Papyrus's track has gotten to be my favorite

perserverance definitely went through some changes and i honestly like the pixel part
Truly a mod that I've been eagerly awaiting to make a great comeback. For a demo this is more than incredible. They really went all out with this demo. Can't wait for when the full thing is done!!
Just started it (here because I have nothing better to watch), and to explain Dusttale real quick in case you don't know the base concept, essentially after a series of RESET's, Sans begins to remember all of the genocide timelines and begins to attempt to put an end to the loop. When all else fails, he resorts to killing all other monsters so he can gain the necessary DETERMINATION to combat you and take the power to RESET for himself.

This mod is the best in my opinion, it's so good.
The part where sans could have hit bf but hit papyrus, thats because bf also possesses the ability to restart, so If he shot bf, through his vision he would have missed, the main factor is that sans is trying to get more determined than them to not allow them to reset

Hey 8owser, you should check out the Spooky’s Saturday Scare FNF Mod. It’s a mod based off Spooky’s Jumpscare Mansion and it has 4 story mode songs and 5 freeplay songs that are all really good and I think you’d enjoy the mod.

@@Christianity223 What he means by "it isn't an AU." is that Dusttale really isn't, the whole point of Dusttale is that it's supposed to be a "What If?" scenario that COULD happen in the original Undertale, under the right circumstances. Which would make it an Alternate Timeline, not an Alternate Universe/AU. :]
