not a new upload but the aspect ratio of my old upload was very much off. unfortunately youtube compression isn't very kind to this video (maybe because of how dark it is?) so the quality is not as nice as my source file, but at least it's not so stretched now :) - Hudba
Amazing vocals in Do You Wanna Dance , Bruce Johnston 👏
Carl really stole the show on wouldn’t it be nice, surprised that Bruce could still really hold the high notes !
i appreciate your heavy coverage of the 90s era
thank you! someone's gotta care about the 90s :-)
@@EloraBB nononono thank YOU dear Elora! and agreed, it needs to be more documented
since we’re at it, have they ever performed problem child live? love that one
@@dumb-angel yes they did! several times in fact, i've got 3 shows in my collection (1990-08-04, 1990-08-07 and 1990-08-08) with them doing it - 1990-08-04 is on youtube here czcams.com/video/btbZHZQgPZg/video.html and i have a giant link of every live show i have if you're interested in the others haha
@@EloraBB ty beautiful
@@EloraBB are any of the others that aren't on CZcams tighter would you say? That New Jersey one has...loose musical ends.
Al channeling that Chris Farmer energy on Then I Kissed Her 😍😍😍
And starting too early on HMR, what a king 😩
Then I Kissed Her is an unexpected track, wow!
Best version!
Why does Mike sound like he's mocking himself the whole show? It sounds like how Brian mocks him on the "Cassius Love Vs. Sonny Wilson" skit. He doesn't stop doing that until Kokomo, and then picks it right back up after, it's really brings down what is an amazing performance from every other member.
Featuring a Very Sick Carl Wilson
He was sick in 91? I thought the health decline started in like 95-96.
I love this concert this upload is an improvement compared to the old one 🙂
Sweet. Thank you. It sounds awesome.
Beach boys in fast songs sounds soooo protopunk.
Rare occasion where Al's guitar is very audible in the mix, especially on Sloop John B
No Somewhere Near Japan? :-(
afraid not. there's a few more tracks they did that weren't televised though! members.tripod.com/~fun_fun_fun/11-2-91.html missed out on video footage of crocodile rock..
whaaaat finale in dont worry bb!!
Thank you my lord
In some songs Baker´s mic is low.
yes it seems so... a shame!
Any way the entire concert is out there on video or cd?? Great show shame it's cut in half here.
They should have ditched Mike Kowalski years ago!
Ditch the dancers who take focus from the members of the band. Prefer to see more of the audience over the dancers. Enjoy seeing the audience participation.
What an uncreative setlist. Especially in hindsight, the band did surprising little to try and capitalize on the success of "Kokomo." "Still Crusin'" came out over a year later with only three new songs.
