This is untrue. When you do this, Trevor blocks the gate to the next route and says "Huh? Haven't you been to the cafe already?"
@@headbobsr Well I skipped that section somehow in my playthrough. I did make a stop to the Pokemon center to heal my Pokemon. So there might be something going on there.
Wait a minute I know how I did it! Okay, after the rival goes in, go to the Pokemon Center, then go back into the cafe, the cutscene will be skipped entirely, then leave.
EDIT: I think maybe the fact I entered a different building might have been why the cutscene was skipped.
@@master106 I tried it just like you said and it did not work for me either. I'm afraid you'll need some proof. You're either missing a step or just misremembering.
Though if you end up right the community would be pretty happy.
@@Geta92 Hmm.. I remember seeing her go in, I thought there might be a rival battle coming up so I went to heal and I went back in the cafe and Serena was just standing there. Though there might be something to this because I might have skipped more stuff too because I beat the game without seeing Frogadier(I chose Fennekin). Weird.
My 3DSXL is hours away from where I am. I was gonna bring it to my university, but my mom said that I am already bringing a bunch of other consoles so, I was like "okay fine I'll leave it here." Sorry.
