"Allergy" and "Queencard" are 2 parts of a story set in Y2K era. This MV is all a Soyeon dream (while under anesthesia) about what it will be like to be a "Queenca" (Korean slang for "popular girl") after plastic surgery.

So what you said at 3:12 is correct. As we know, Korea is a very conservative country and the entertainment produced there nationally does NOT PROMOTE behavior or even SOME WORDS like this especially not for the women in their society. However, GIDLE are one of the very few PROGRESSIVE K-pop groups ALONG w a few idols like Holland (openly gay male Korean idol), Hwasa, Hyolyn (known for her “explicit” choreo, Jessi ( they call her a culture shock for Korean society as she is Korean but grew up in New York and now lives in Korea again and her “attitude” and behavior is not what they are used to over there. Even KARD who is a unisex group also break barriers as well especially with some “adult” language they use in songs that are def not what you’d hear in kpop. So, yea this comeback def had a lot of K-NETIZENS talking and surprisingly the K-NETIZENS loved it and this song is meant to be a parody as well which some ppl also disliked the song and thought it made no sense. The song was just a DIVERSE, progressive, and cultural reset in contrast to general and basic Korean standards. Nice catch on that because you caught the POINT of the song and MV apart from the storyline it does focus on which is about self-worth and beauty but GIDLE are def one of the most progressive kpop groups active in Korea rn.
