To be honest, I feel as if DriveClub has better graphics than The Crew and tied with Project Cars 2 because of the shading, if the company didn't shut down and improved the graphics than I'd put it higher, plus the gameplay is just sh*t.

No, sony closed DriveClub developer studio because was a commercial failure, the game has graphics and sounds like maybe was a very super expensive game and they possible didnt recover the money, which implied in some people losing their jobs due cuts and then closing. 2. NFS Payback (i fukn LOVE THIS GAME AND THE SOUND AHHHHHH MARVELOUS!!!!!)
3. Project CARS 2 (i actually surprise how GOOD the sound is!)
4. Forza Horizon 3 (good game but the sound just the same as the other cars)
5. The Crew Wild Run (it was the worse sound of the other but overall its a fun game :D)

MrVance210 lack of detail? Talk about lack of detail in The Crew and Project Cars.
Also detail doesn't make everything. While I think Payback has great level of detail (except in the city) the reason I rank it top is because the style, the colours, depth and lighting all work together extremely well compared to likes of FH3. The variety in enviroment design in Payback is the best of all 5 titles.
project cars is sim, no arcade, graphics is secondary there. also the crew is from 2014 and feels more alive than nfs 2017 xD
MrVance210 We were talking about visuals not the genre right? The Crew's graphics are from late 2015 because they revamped the visuals with the wild run expansion. It's not a bad looking game but the design doesn't compare to that of Payback. The biggest difference comes in enviromental design and variety, which is understandable though because of the size of the map in The Crew.
And based on playing both titles Crew is on the same line with NfS when it comes to how lively the world is.

- Every drop of water that you can see in driveclub has physics and they CAN MOVE . For example in Forza drops of water are just drops of shits And you MUST ADMIT IT .

Or if it doesnt crash then the screen will stay blank. Or if dat doesnt happen and the game starts 2 actually play.. Ur console/pc will heat up like a fucking volcano, ur remote control will start to vibrate, heat up also up to 200 fucking degrees, ur lights/tv will start flickering, everydoor in ur house all the way from dressers and cabinets will rapidly open and slam shut non stop, ur sockets will start to spark, and light bulbs bust and blow out and all ur power will turn off. Then everything will end when ur console/pc and ur remote explode So if the game starts to play id suggest ur ass take cover under a sofa or a bed and hide til everything ends. I didnt play racing games since the nfs shift days and coming back to the racing/car genre (new pc and wheel !!!) I can just say: I am happy that we havr so many games to choose from. Each with their own aspects of greatness. Since I loved nfs shift (slightly mad studios) and want to get good with the wheel, I start with project cars 2 but I intend to pick up many more of different racing games : definitely dirt 4 and forza horizon 3, but probably also something like nfs. I heard that Fast and Furious will get a game series (Slightly Mad studios behind it). Great times for the genre.

Whats so great about driveclub anyways.i have the game and it looks meh during daytime racing but when it rains and you in cockpit view,it looks realistic but change to exterior view and nothing realistic happens there.just a few shit ton of raindrops on screen but look through the raindrops there is nothing happening

I played NFS Payback and FH3 , my liking goes to FH3 both gameplay and graphic. FH3 driving feel is very realistic and the Drifting just perfect. Payback looks like crap at distance. FH3 might not have all the nice reflection but I love the cleany look and the nice weather. But ofc Driveclub graphic still No.1 here.

I always wonder when a game will be better than the DriveClub in terms of graphics, it's amazing that even after 4 years the game continues at the top.

A mix of the story of payback,the graphics of driveclub and the sound of project cars would be perfect. Project cars need to improve on the upshifts and downshifts though.

Personally I think driveclub sounded the most appealing, not sure about realism though as far as the sound goes. Ontop of that I think drive club has the best physics engine and handling characteristics, its rather brutal but very rewarding.

NFS Payback sounds a bit muffled, DriveClub’s downshift just needs to be improved, Project Cars 2 needs to work on the upshift, Forza Horizon sounds great, but doesn’t sound EXACTLY like the real deal.

Dylan O Toole Cover car for that game was Lamborghini Centenario, a car that uses the same engine as the Aventador so Turn10 or Playground games probably had access to anAventador to record the sound of the engine since they partnered with Lamborghini

From my point of view nfs payback is the best i mean i like fh3 too but i like more nfs because it has a nice story and i like how i feel the car and the speed but i dont think is worth 50€(my country price for this game).

DriveClub graphics engine is built differently from the ground up than FH3's graphics engine.
The attention to detail that DriveClub has is also key in the physically based shaders that it simulates unlike any other racing game to date.
Also to mention the 3D Volumetric Cloud system and global long draw distance lighting/shadows casting over the ENTIRE TRACK WORLD...
The tracks in DriveClub are huge and filled with many many 3D objects within its viewable draw distance just like any open-world game's viewable draw distance.
Unlike most games with rain, DC uses real-time screen space reflections and everything GETS WET... You can see rocks, plant life, and roofs of houses all reflecting in real-time. Screen space reflections looks great and do not require as much memory.
DriveClub would run fine if it was built to be open-world and was running on a PS4 Pro at that... hell if it was multiplatform like *PS4 Pro x PC like PARAGON* then it would run 1080p+ at 60fps open-world just fine with the same graphical fidelity and then some on a High-end PC.
DriveClub is the only racing game to feature 3D volumetric clouds that cast shadows on consoles.
*Project Cars 1* tried this method of 3D cloud cover with no shadows on PC and it didn't look too bad, but was lacking those meaningful shadows on the track for realism.
