Then of-course there is the English quackery (the English need to fuck everything up). Or to summarize a Scottish accent is just a weird blend of Irish, Scandinavia (more specifically Norwegian), with an English twist.

Brave is basically inspired by Celtic culture. There's a lot of overlap due to a shared Celtic and Gaelic culture between the Irish & Scots but pretty much all the nuance between both nations is completely lost on North Americans. Glad to see someone noted this already! Absolutely brilliant show, people should watch it when they have a chance. Sadly only two seasons, but that makes it easy to binge in a day or two, and it's totally binge-worthy.
It's technically not really a Netflix show, it's produced by Channel 4 in the UK, but Netflix has the license to show it on their service. I know it's kind of odd to think of something like that as a basic TV show in the US, but the UK is a bit different with stuff like that, depending on time of night. Like how they have "game shows" where panels of comedians swear, use crude humor, and sometimes even have full nudity (from the back). Look up "8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown" to see how crazy it can get... but then you might not be able to watch American game shows any more.
