I've heard that Google has a slight upper hand on lens quality and tends to show more realistic color in its photos. My Pixel 8 Pro should be coming in this week in the mail 🥳

One thing I noticed from any Iphone photos since the beginning of time..the temperature looks too warm for my liking. The other thing is that when you took an image of a metal things like cars or steel door esp. with red & black colors..it tends to make it shining thus it make it so unnatural.
Iphone new oversharpening King 🤴 Like Samsung was before. Pixel also to much. Iphone has way to much yellow and red colour, blue looks off while pixel looks off gamma due to low contrast and way to much shadow/hdr processing.
The Pixel is technically the more capable camera, but I prefer the iPhone's camera for the best point-and-shoot results. I've tried so many different phones over the last several years (Google, Samsung, OnePlus, Apple, even HTC and LG before they stopped making phones), and I always end up going back to the iPhone. Pixel brings up the shadows too much, which results in a lack of contrast. Samsung colors are over-saturated. The iPhone is kind of a nice middle ground.

the unnatural brightening of the skin on the iphone just isn't appealing, google won overall.

The crazy thing is that 8 pro is like 610$ now and cheapest iPhone 15 Pro Max is 1200$ in my area, so that's a double of pixel cost

They both fo back and forth with the highlit control, but in pure detail the Pixel has won. Great review!

In photography I prefer pixel but for videography iPhone is better.

I'd pick a Pixel phone for snapping photos over everything else, any day.
I bought iphone 15 pro, then switched to P8P, in my experience Pixel 8 pro is way better and consistent , and better phone overall
