The best way to remove bias is to rate them ALL first, then show which picture was taken by which phone. It seemed like they after choosing samsung, they all tried to guess which was the iphone and it's what they chose.

    IDEA FOR NEXT TIME:
Introduce categories first (like portrait, ultrawide, zoom, main camera, low light) and let us decide at the beginning which categories are the most important to us by giving it a ranking (1-5) or maybe even a factor ( x0,5 / 0,75 / 1 / 1,25 / 1,5 ). Then gives us 5-10 pictures of each category to compare. This way everybody can figure out which is the best camera for its own preferences by looking at the ranking or multiply every category with its preselected factor and summing everything up.
The way you do it right now is distorted by e.g. the amount of zoom pictures you put in. If you show 10 pictures of 10x zoom, the galaxy would win the comparison easily. Same goes for night or portrait pictures.

One of the guys actually picked the Samsung a heap of times in a row at first until he worked out the characteristics, and started picking the iPhone more. I'm left thinking the iPhone was actually the one they rated worst if you removed their bias. I'm a Samsung user, but I really liked iPhone 15's photos more often than not, so I might switch in the future. I was lucky enough to have been able to test all 3, it's 3 different experiment, they are all good in their way. What i can say it's when you have them in your hand, S23 ultra and 15 Pro Max looks more premium than the Pixel 8 Pro, they have a better quality of build. For an everyday smartphone, iPhone seems to me the best, it's smooth, efficient, very easy to use, has big battery life and has a much more better front camera than the other ones. The S23 Ultra has an incredible screen, it's like a small TV you can bring with you everywhere, One UI is the most complete OS you can have but makes feel a little bit messy, the user experience is behind the other two smartphones in my opinion and like the OS, the photo shooting is very complete, the most complete but messy, it's less practical for an everyday use, a lack of ergonomics. The Pixel 8 Pro has the best OS and probably the best rear camera with the best algorithm, the user experience is just incredible. However, the smartphone itself has a quality of build very limit, it does not look like a premium one, the battery life is also very short for a flagship, the front camera is the least qualitative, Google algorithms doing too much to erase the weakness of the front camera when you make selfie. All the AI integrated into the pixel works but is still very experimental, it's very funny but not really usefull for an everyday use. The impressive evolution of Google and their management of AI makes me think it could become the indisputable number one in a few years.

2:28 Notice how on the right one, the horizontal line on the wall is a little wobbly. So when it reaches near the blue logo (the lower one), it almost splits. This looks similar to what you get when you use AI upscale like ESRGAN on Anime.
I chose the middle one as it seems to resolve it just enough to get the details while avoiding noise OR a paint like look.
With the right one, while the leaves might looks "sharper" at first glance, they really don't seem to contain any more detail.
The left one, while having more superficial levels of noise, still retains an overall more realistic look and the horizontal line on the wall is precisely straight
