Best place for foundry/furnace is to the left as you start down the hill. Not a lot of trees to remove and using the circular leveling tool you leave the downhill slope and rotate factory 45 degrees an you can drive around it for both dumping and picking up, and round trip is five minutes. If you slip in a sell everything to the left as you go up the hill you can sell ore that does not fit in factory.

If you use a plow an push the iron away from it's source you can make a massive iron pile cuz it don't stop if you push it away lol I have so much iron ore up there it's awesome lol 😂. I used the heavy metal long blade and dozer blade with attachment for the long pole to push it all into this huge mountain of iron

Plot 24 is perfect for steel factory. There’s a spot that is obviously cleared for a building that is sized almost exactly for the factory. 🤙🏻

Are your forced to pick up the iron by bucket? Can you not just place a trailer underneath the auger? Also im sure some modders will make some custom ore mines to throw rocks into in exchange for iron ore

Parking underneath does not work but I am thinking about placing a conveyor belt if that works into a semi trailer

I think at this point in time we have to assume. That giants, will some how some way in future. Integrate mining, digging ground, and other elements into future Farming simulator games.
Which takes away that farming Simulator feeling to the game. Unless they change the title to Giants Simulator 2023/24 which allows all these possibilities to happen. One big sand box game which allows Logging, mining, farming, harvesting. Etc etc.

You can just move the iron ore away from the belt, make a secondary pile, then come pick it up when you want it.

I will probably just use a conveyor belt down the hill from the mine to the plant if that works. Or even a conveyor belt right into a parked semi tractor trailer

I don't know a ton about consoles, BUT - this is part of the platinum expansion and is on the Silver Run map which came with the expansion

Don’t stuff around with front loaders. Too slow, to much hassle. Use a conveyer belt system to load your trucks/trailers like the Lizard S-710 ground pickup attached to the Grimme SL 80-22 Quantum conveyer belt. Way simpler, quicker, cheaper, better!

If you have the Platinum DLC then yes, you can add in both the mine and the steel mill.

I use the 988 cat (lizard) and 777 cat dump truck or the kommatsu dump truck I play on ps4 wish I played on PC for better mods

Honestly the mods that are on the Modhub are the only ones I really use. Mods from other sites are often broken or missing things.
