But your kids are gonna love it.
Now it's "I guess you aren't into that, but your parents loved it."
I'm the 88th like on your comment. Prepare to see some "serious shit". 😂
This is for all the “Thumbs Down” clown. Face it… they’re Slackers. They’ve got no future. 😉

This show looks so good, I ordered tickets 36 years ago
I tried to order them next year, however, when I went to book yesterday they were sold out for tomorrow of last week.
Nice one
Its brilliant you must see it if you can !!
I think that tops anything

I'll give it this; the guy playing Biff really nailed down how he spoke in the movies.
The guy playing george also absolutely nailed it .great alround performane from all cast
He's from Jersey
He doesn't look or sound like Biff at all what are you talking about?

This looks like the best adaptation I have seen ever.
It's brilliant!
It really is amazing
Uh what????
It won best new musical last year, it's fantastic
Went to see this last night and it was really good, just pure entertainment. The actors playing both Doc Brown and George McFly were sensational, especially George. Special mention has to go to the set design and special effects, they were incredible throughout and truly immersed you in the experience. Highly recommended.
Fully agree that George's actor was INCREDIBLE. Disagree with Doc though, we felt he was massively miscast, mainly because he was trying too hard to be funny.
@@LEWIS1992 agreed
Do they have a delorean
@@stitch6351 yes there is a DeLorean in the musical
It wouldn’t be back to the future without one
@@deloreankid88 yh I saw it on Wednesday
What happens in the future Doc? Do they remake Back to the Future or something?
No , no, no, no, no, Marty, Bob and Bob would never allow that. It's the musical Marty! Somethings gotta be done about the Musical!
Ba nn y’a rien a faire la comedie musicale est parfaite comme ça
Lol!
I admit, when I first heard about them making a musical of "Back to the Future", I was dubious. But just seeing this trailer, I was floored. This looks amazing! I wish they had it over here in the States - or could do a "made for television" version like they did for the Spongebob musical - for those of us who won't be getting to London any time soon! I would love to see this!
Dubious !!!! NO way!!! This is fabulous!!!!
Yeah it would be really cool to watch it here
@@RR-qv8uz Agreed!
After seeing SpongeBob, Mean Girls, Shrek, and Beetlejuice all respectively become musicals I've just stop doubting the possibility of anything being a musical.

@@TonyZi yeah and it's an amazing show
Wish it was in Australia :(
I love how this trailer spoils the entire musical because we've all seen the entire movie and know the plot already anyway.
Or as the marketers probably said: "I figured, what the hell?"
They muted any original songs and just had the covers of most iconic songs by Huey Lewis used in the movie, by the musical cast. It’s not about the plot of the musical, otherwise Lion King on Broadway wouldn’t be so record breaking. It’s about the songs, the acting, the immersion into the story in a 3D environment (stage), versus watching an animation on a screen. Stage actors can at times jump into the audience, and give you a truly 3D experience where you ARE there, watching it all. Some musicals even begin with the cast walking down the aisles past all the audience to reach the stage. Which is not possible on film.
@@BlackVeilSavior Someone I knew a long time ago told me about the Los Angeles version of Evita. There were 90 people in the cast and at one point they marched through the audience with flaming torches.
Haha love that
Nope you're completely wrong. If you had never seen Back to the Future before and watched this trailer you'd have no context for these scenes, you wouldn't know where they came in the story or why they're significant. You only see these scenes as spoilers because you know how the story plays out.
@@RighteousBrother I've never seen the movie but knew the context because so many people have said to me over the years "You've never seen it?!?!?!?" and then told me in precise detail why I should watch it that I no longer need to.
This is genuinely one of the most incredible shows I have ever seen! If you are a fan of the movie especially this is a MUST SEE!!! from start to finish I was smiling, laughing, reminiscing and the effects in this are just perfect.
I can’t wait to go back in February. The cast are just amazing and couldn’t get it anymore perfect if they tried.
Sad
I agree
The cast are perfect
Believe me, I see the show last wednesday and the cast was even better. I never enjoy a musical so as this one. To see this with my youngest daughter born 2 years after the film release was priceless!!!

Hey! I’m subscribed to you!
Didn’t expect you to be here James!
I just watched it in theatres today, It was great
Saw this the other night and wondered how it would work - it works!
Without giving anything away, the staging and illusions are incredible! Left me pretty emotional towards the end
Saw this at the Adelphi today. What a show! Great cast. Amazing SFX. The clock tower scene and anything involving the DeLorean were just brilliant. No spoilers but I don't know how the theatre managed that last bit!! A big thank you to the production team, all the cast and everyone needed to make this show what it is. Fantastic ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Haven't stopped thinking about it since I saw it. I need a cast recording.
Came all the way from the US and saw it last Saturday. It is my favorite movie! It was a dream come true! Every iconic scene was there. The cast, the script, the effects, the dancing, new songs and the live band were all just spectacularly brilliant!!! Can’t wait for it to open on Broadway. In the meantime, I want to watch it again and again in London. 🏎💨😎🎸
I love back to the future so much too as well for a I not see that show before to I can see it.
To anyone considering about watching this but aren’t too sure, I seriously recommend it. I’ve never seen a single musical like it, and there’s a reason as to why it’s getting so much hype. I’m a musical fanatic and I’ve seen musicals such as Be More Chill to Hamilton and this, by far is the best thing I have ever seen and I mean that. I’ve seen maybe 16 different musicals but this was so different. Flashing lights and incredible scenes. Back to the future is my favourite thing to ever exist and as soon as I heard it hit the stage, I knew I had to see it. I felt like I was watching a movie, the special effects are insane. Watch it. You wont regret it. I’ve already seen it twice.
I'm completely obsessed with this, definitely going to have to make a trip
One of the greatest pieces of theatre I’ve seen. It transferred incredibly as a stage show. Gob smacked!!!!!
"Its your children Marty!"
"I mean. Its your Musical Marty!" 😁😉

About time they dropped this! Been a fan for a year- so excited for this musical
I can't wait when it hopefully comes to Broadway!
i cannot begin to explain how incredible this show is!!! can’t wait for the cast recording 😍 november 26th can’t come soon enough
Why don’t you just use your time machine?
Why didn't they make the date for the cast recording November 5th?!?
Did it come out somewhere for everyone to watch?
Saw this in Manchester in February 2020, just before Lockdown. It was Amazing!!😊👍
Same here, lucky enough to see it twice and I'd love to see it again sometime, it was exceptional and amazing!
Me too - amazing show. Different enough from the film in some ways but yet very similar and as good.
Same caught it just before lockdown was announced so lucky, it was fantastic.
I've seen it 3 times in Manchester, first preview, when Olly was ill and Will played Marty and press night. I'm going to London in October, it is truly mazing.

I took my wife to see this musical for our wedding anniversary on Wednesday night 9th of August 2023 at The Adelphi Theatre in London and we were not dissapointed. The cast were great, the special effects were the best I have seen at a theatre ever and the staff were very helpful, especially Sam who showed us to our seats and stored my mobility scooter for me whilst the show was on and brought it back for me at the end. Thanks to everyone involved for making our anniversary special. If you are a Back To The Future fan, go and see it, you will not be dissapointed.

I saw this twice in London, once with the main Marty actor, the incredible Olly Dobson, and once with the fantastic alternate, Will Haswell. Both times with the iconic Hugh Coles as George Mcfly. A mind blowing show. So grateful and proud that it originated in London.
For anyone seeing it for the first time on Broadway, you're in for a treat! Especially with Hugh Coles reprising his revelatory turn as George.
Finally saw it in NY. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended!
When I first heard YEARS ago that they were going to be making BTTF into a musical I've been dying to see it ever since. I hope it comes to Toronto.

I went to this show and can I just say, everything going from the actors, to stage tricks, to music…incredibly well done. My brother’s favorite musical.
Honestly, this is one of the best shows I've ever been to. This is so underrated, from the theming to the use of screens to the song to the acting, its perfect. Even if you're not ready for it your kids are gonna love it!
When the Financial Times gives it 4 stars you know it’s a keeper.
I already seen this show twice. Aboustley brilliant. Love everything about it. The music, the special effects the cast.
The second time I watch it. There were some different actors playing the main roles. It was just as great and just as brilliant. Go and see it if you can.
I saw it 2 days ago in London, imagine growing up watching this movie and then seeing the musical. The special effects were amazing and the actor WOW. For a first musical I would say it was the best I could see.

I want to see this so badly, it is on my number one top spot on the list of musicals that I wanna see
The stage, the characters the car all come alive.
I can’t wait to see it! Looks like a good one!
This looks legit fun, and I usually don't give a shit about musicals.
Then you should watch the Beetlejuice musical!
It's great fun what they do with the car is fantastic the songs and cast are really good too
I said the same thing. I hate musicals/plays, all that crap. This I would actually watch though. It looks good.
I Like how in scenes vs a villain they stop fighting and sing a song
Ya'll have no idea how hype I am for this. I watched all the movies, behind the scenes, and anything that has to do with this franchise. And now this? NOW THIS IS WHY BEING ALIVE IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!
I attended the musical a month ago. It was fantastic! It's indeed a feelgood triumph in all aspects. I've enjoyed every single minute of the show. Literally. Highly, highly recommended!
And Marty’s about to found out that being stuck in the 50’s isn’t daaat easyyy

It’s funny, I sometimes think what it’d be like to go back to when my parents were in high school & meet them.
Then I remember I’ve been out of high school for decades, no way I’d pass as a high schooler, & I’d just be ‘another adult’ to them.
They can call me a massive fan. I have developed a man crush on Roger Bart.
With Back to the Future being my favorite movie, normally I would expect this to be terrible, but then after Groundhog Day and Beetlejuice made surprisingly good stage musical adaptations, I honestly don't even know how to feel about this

Well this is completely mind blowing!!!! Bravo!!! Love the movie, love the concept, love the fact it will be captured in a musical theatre time capsule!!!! Bloody brilliant ! My childhood relived!
The perfect cameo role for Christopher Lloyd would be the hobo sleeping on the bench when Marty travels back to 1985.
If this ever debuts on Broadway, even if it's just for opening night, make this happen!
Well, he's helped do some promotional stuff early on for this so you never know. He seems to genuinely endorse this endeavor.

OMG! This is the true reboot! The casting is amazing and so close to the original actors!
Really hope this will be toured in Sweden too or recorded for streaming/online video!
Doc Brown looks like he's having a stroke....OF GENIUS!
Should we expect a digital version of this musical on any platform any time soon?
I am burning with desire to see this performance. But so far away from us.
I personally believe every musical should get the Hamilton treatment and be recorded with the original cast, and then released sometime later. (Presumably the reason they held off for years with Hamilton is so that they had a few years to profit off the Broadway run)
I’ve seen this and omfg it’s amazing
Wow what a magical experience.
I'm from the UK and was in New York on Holiday last week, whilst I was there my Daughter and I wanted to see a Broadway show, we both love Back to the Future so the obvious choice.
I didn't know what to expect or how they were going to achieve and capture all aspects of the movie, they did in a big way.
It was absolutely amazing, what an experience we had, the actors performance was exceptional, capturing the characters and putting their own spin on it.
Well done to all of you and thank you for such a memorable experience.
I want to see the UK version to compare, big shoes to fill here, honesty can't see them beating the Broadway version.
No one will ever beat Olly Dobson in the role of Marty in the musical. He was the original and best. Most natural resemblance to Michael J Fox, voice impression was the best too. Thankful I saw him in the West End.
I think it’s cute the actors are pretending to be the original actors. Absolutely precious.
i mean that's kinda their job lmfao
@@juliannah9565 literally lol
@@juliannah9565 Is that what you mean? Thank you for telling me. I wouldn't have thought you meant "that's kinda their job lmfao" had you not prefaced it by telling me it's what you meant.
That being said, and I realize it's hard to tell just by words and not the sound of my voice, but I was being sarcastic.
I understand that the roles of Doc and Marty could be considered iconic, but it's an actor's job to act. Not to imitate. If all an actor had to do was ape a previous performance then Adam West would have just had to imitate Lewis Wilson when the former took on the role of Batman. And it's more than obvious Michael Keaton didn't imitate Adam West.
No one else could be Michael J. Fox and/or Christopher Lloyd and no one should try to be.
@@cuttersboi08 bruh its the internet, how could i tell it was sarcasm? but i def agree, nobody could replace mjf. ever.
@@cuttersboi08 You're talking about reboots though and applying that logic to an adaptation. No one's trying to be Michael J Fox. Marty Mcfly is a character PLAYED by Michael J Fox. Michael J Fox is not Marty Mcfly. This actor is playing Marty Mcfly, the fictional character. The point of a musical adaptation is never to alter the story or characterisations as far as I'm aware, it's to adapt it to a musical format.
This show is so good, I've already booked to come back next year.
Saw it last night at the Adelphi and it was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.
Staging was the best I’ve ever seen.
