Thank you for putting subtitles in English on this. These stories are so important for the world to hear: her son was right, this kind of documentation is imperative. She survived 53 days of hell; the other hostages remaining are dealing with more than double that: it’s hard to imagine the horror of no sunlight and complete captivity for that length of time. We need the rest of them back now.

How can Israel sustain its unity after October 7? Since the October 7 attack, we are not expressing hatred toward each other because our pain is much greater. But we are not far from how things were before October 7. We could return to that previous state in a matter of days.
It is also important to note that our divisiveness throughout the year weakened us and strengthened those who wished to attack us. A captured Hamas terrorist who participated in the October 7 attacks stated how the ongoing protests and demonstrations in Israel encouraged Hamas during their preparations for the attack.
When outside influences that pressure the formation of our unity move away, internal feelings of hatred resurface. We might believe that coming closer during tough times lets us develop while maintaining that closeness. However, this idea is incorrect.
We need to undergo a reset and rebuild our unity from scratch, without external pressure dictating our actions but out of our own choice to live in a common connection to each other, with a spirit of unity, support, care, encouragement and closeness dwelling in our relations.
When we are in a conflict of opinions, we need to equally respect those who we are against, acknowledging that they might also be right and have their own opinions, and that their opinions represent other people and citizens. Thus, we indeed should take heed to treat each other with more kindness.
Unity means that we are ready to set aside our own opinions in order to unite with others.
Impossible to even imagine what she went through.
We people of Israel are not sharing our pains and our fears and our struggles, this is unfortunate, this is why in the world of media and propaganda we are always loosing, now it is more important then ever. Now 3 month passed since release of the hostages - and only few of them spoked out and shared their stories - it is too late for the world to feel anything, it is horrible to think like this. But it is true, now only hungry children of Gaza matter for the world media - not our hostages. We hide our pain, we protect our rights and feelings and privacy - while of the other side mothers put makeup blood on their children with no shame and they are believed to, they are main victim . World is a dirty place

Am I not understanding this correctly ??? A commercial for palestinians right before this video??? I'm for innocent children (or people in general) of any race or country, but seriously, an adult male talking about the conditions in Gaza and its a fund raising ad.....not sure what to think about that commercial.....were not those people given time and the choice to leave???
