My dad was born in 1918. He grew up learning to use what you had. Was a very good mechanic. Junk yard for parts. Cleaning plugs until just wouldn't work. Making own plug wires. Always a tool kit in car. Making do. Wasn't a bad life.
Bravo pour la POLLUTION les gros caves
A really great job, but couldn't you afford to replace at least the one bald tire the tires were your one real let down on a really great rebuild.
All those worn pins should have been replaced or machined. Most of this is clean and paint.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😄😄😄😄
Those pins don’t wear out dude
Transmission valves will be plugged up in 10 minutes . You haven’t done anything to repair it. That’s ok the engine won’t last a week . The paint will probably fall off for shame.
Two worn tyres, an engine that smokes, at least 5 worn pivot pins between the lifting arm and shovel, not to mention at least seven missing wheel bolts , does not make a complete restoration.
The 2 worn tires should've been both up front & the tires with the good tread on the back, but they put them on like it came in, but they put the back tires up front & the front tires on the back
Did a good job rebuilding the engine but screwed up on lapping the valves. Once a valve is lapped to the hole, that is the only hole that it seals properly in. If he does a compression test, he is going to have random pressures across the cylinders because the valves are mismatched now. Since he lapped all the valves then took them out and didn't keep them in order, he just threw them into a pile with no order. Also were the new cylinder sleeves honed for the cross-hatch. The sleeves that I have seen aren't honed when brand new.
I thought so too although he then puts them back in specific spots, must have them marked. Running it right after rebuild for a decent amount of time with no coolant didnt feel right
@@awake.collective what i saw was him just plunk the valves in. He did stop and glance at the rest of them because the intake and exhaust are different sizes. Running the engine as long as he did without cooling, I don't think would hurt it because he probably filled the block with water. If you noticed the water and hose there. When he was cranking the engine white smoke came out of the turbocharger from both sides. That shows that the valves weren't in order causing blowby and low compression
Hello everyone have a great day
Good morning Kurtis, you are the all-rounder in engineering, you do any job perfectly and with great quality. You should have an award for perfection and the great work you do with everything you set out to do. I love watching your videos every day and I look forward to seeing you. Can't wait to see the next memories to Caren that u also make. great job of filming and video editing and also to your dog 🦴🐾 🤗👏👏👏
Does he replace any bearings or seals?
Gray smoke from a diesel engine means badly burned diesel.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing he brought this yellow monster to life ❤️🔥🤯
A minute in, a guy is standing in the most dangerous place on the truck, at the mercy of the crane operator.
And can you believe he's not wearing flip flops?
You know, you might as well drag that down of the Creek and wash it there. So that's just gonna end up there anyway.❤
تمام
It s Not a Komatsu it s old Ihc. 510/515
Your obviously working on a tight budget. Because of that you did a good job.
Now we know how the ground water gets contaminated with chemicals.
No grease on the gears or any Joint !!!!!! 1:19:54
One tyre condition not good sso why you didn't change old tyre only time pass video and your work also
Thanks
1 suggestion...invest in a sandblaster...please!!
Given the tools and work space they did a pretty good job. Tools are out dated and they work in flip flops. jeez Louise I can't believe they do what they do with what they have. Komatsu ain't running so good. Needs some tuning
Seeing the engine smoking and missfiring I would say low compression because the sleeves weren't cross-hatched and him mixing up the valves screwed up the work he did. Another thing he should have done is put locktite on the flywheel bolts.
Amazing job guys. Enjoy watching y'all work together. A good team. I use to change tires of all kinds in the shop n road service by myself. Turned wrenches too. Grew up farming. I know how hard it is. So again. Great job. Be safe.
If they don't get it to dealership s like this they're making a big mistake, they will be able to make up for the next year a win win in the USA!!!!!😊
Is it allowed to let all the fluids from the engine run free in to the ground outside. Here we need to drain the fluids in barrels.
Love how they just painted over the dirt and grease. That will really work. And the clutch packs! Just a wire wheel clean,😂. You can tell that they don't care if it's going to last. A lot of work for nothing!!!!
Nice look at the mechanics
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just have to learn how to drive it now 🙃
Pretty awesome to save that ole piece of iron. I don't understand the color scheme, but overall pretty sweet revival.
He works very hard.
Things must be pretty cheap in the Philippines 🇵🇭 if you can strip down a bulldozer and restore it. Also, I would reinforce the cabin just in case it ever tips over on its roof 👍🏻
Amazing work , congratulations

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Just guessing, but could be US equipment left behind after war, what youth and lots of workers can do with nothing and lots of time.
Good job
Wonderful . Great work. Loved watching you men!!
Very nice work❤
I like the colors. lots of good work
I hope I'm not being too critical in saying that this was a terrible waste of good paint and a new gasket set! That thing is a death trap! Kudos on all that labor tho! wow.
Only thing restored was the ICDE. The rest of the project was essentially lipstick on a pig.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Enjoyed this video, nice work guys😊
You got the engine running and restored the body…..but why was the forklift pushing and pulling you 😂😂😂😂
Transmission issues I suspect. Had to fast forward to the end to see.
This equipment is for own use only not for construction works already to them this kind of item is thrown to junk for melting this is our style in the developing countries like the philippines.
Sehr gute Mechaniker hervorragende Restauration
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Should've put another tire on that wheel because that one tire doesn't have any tread left on it ,it's bald,no tread left, needs new tire & you didn't even put the exhaust stack & air filter & the top cover for the engine back on what a rip off
Ur good u r there u help a lot of people to fix anything. Ur country needs u there to help people do their job easier. Keep up d good work ❤🎉😊
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bon travail
Who else cringed when the guy in blue stood at the front of the bucket while loading onto the truck.
WHY RED WHEELS WHY NOT BLACK
These kind of lads are what you find up bush and will fix most things with a half dead battery and a piece of wet rope. Have personal experience of riding through N/E Thailand when my Harley threw a piston. The girlfriend soon found a guy all sorted in 24 hrs dirt cheap and so helpful.
una restauracion practicamente hecha a mano felicidades
👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤
Should have been titled “mechanic” does spray bomb overhaul but fixes nothing. 🤦♂️🤮
The drive does not work on this unit, you can literally see the fork lift pushing and pulling it. 😂😂😂
Amazing video ❤
Olá! Cheguei agora neste canal. Sou José Djamar - Brasil, estado de São Paulo, cidade São Paulo.
Qual o seu país, estado/província e cidade?
Surprised they didn't fit new pins, tyres DnD get the broken wheel studs out.
I’m only upset by the paint job. Looks like it’s from McDonald’s
Why you so upset bro?
Does it clash with your uniform…..!!!!!
What an absolutely stupid thing to say after all the effort that this guy has put into it….
@@paulmoxon8839 hahahahahaha I’m still laughing. It looks ridiculous bro
Remind me not to eat the fish out of the local stream!😂😂

Totally unexpected, science never ceases to amaze me.
