They're using the Norse mythology to narrate one of most horrible tragedies in the humankind history, Hiroshima and Nagasaki suffered this monochrome "fireworks" but she's giving us hope that if this war or any other sad moment (like the recent pandemic) is happening today, the colors will be back.🦊🤘🌈
So far these are the only one credited and none of them are members of the Kami Band since they only play live.
    *Monochrome*
    Lyrics : MK-METAL
Music & Arrangement : YUPPEMETAL (aka Yuyoyuppe) he's the one behind songs you like it and mentioned like Karate, Rondo Of Nightmare, Megitsune and Kagerou, very accurate ear.👍
"Ijime Dame Zettai" is the song you were talking about but you can called it IDZ (idz) for short.

Great reaction. BABYMETAL's studio recordings are played by "anonymous" studio session musicians (one exception being Kami Band member Leda Cygnus who played guitar and bass for a handful of the songs). The Kami Band will play their own interpretations of the songs in live concerts.
'Monochrome' and its video seems (to me and some others at least) to reference the Hiroshima bombing (Su is from Hiroshima) - the "monochrome firework" could be the bomb and the tree they used throughout and that was finally shown in colour at the end could be the Hiroshima Peace Tree that survived the bombing.
There are also visuals that look like explosions and flashes of light through the video.
It also talks about falling rain which could relate to the black acid rain that followed as a result of the the bomb and the ash seeding the clouds and in the aftermath of the bombing survivors used umbrellas to try to protect themselves from radioactive fallout ... the acid rain was also referenced in the kamishibai before 'No Rain, No Rainbow' at the legend S concerts.
I read another comment that said something that sort of looks like an explosion changing into a sort of blooming flower which could be the Oleander which is a plant that survived the bombing and was "designated the official flower of Hiroshima for its remarkable vitality".
It is a softer, more mellow song than 'Divine Attack', but it is deep and meaningful and emotional despite that - but it does seem to be a song of hope with the last line "just smile" and the visuals flooded with colour at the end.

On first listen some think it’s more a light hearted, poppier song. That’s what I expected from the TOO clips.
When you take in the imagery it’s obviously not that. With more listens it does hit differently. I expect it to be pretty emotional when performed live.
Some of the other TOO clips are extremely heavy & aggressive. Going into battle as it where. So it’s going to be a very interesting concept album.

I want BABYMETAL to be the one and only existence that is HEAVY METAL if you just listen to it, but becomes HAPPY METAL when you watch it😊😊😊😊.

The person who composed for the song also composed Karate & Rondo of Nightmare. I like his melodic approach to metal songs, makes them catchy but also melancholic imo

I thought it was a relatively familiar melody.

    Great reaction, thanks!
Although I still prefer "Divine Attack" musically, they went way deeper lyrically here with some obscure references to the end of the world and also to their song "No rain no rainbow". Also the visuals confirms that direction depicting several nuclear blasts and a post-apocalyptic situation. But they decided to end it with an optimistic message: "We will illuminate the world in rainbow colors. Just smile." as the final lines.

If I remember right, the tree at the end is a depiction of a tree that somehow survived the blast at Hiroshima in WW2.

@@jerolddavis Yep, and it also may represent "Yggdrasil" (from the Norse mythology, like the reference to Ragnarök in the lyrics) a sacred tree representing the link among the 9 different worlds. Does it sound familiar? 😊
