Mikio was not there for that performance (the one who sadly passed away 2 years ago). Some of the Kamis (especially on guitar) have swapped but the most common Kami band members are :

In this instance, the guitarists were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura (in this order for solos).
Now you know why they're called the Kami band (Kami means God). They're basically summoning the Goddess of Metal Su-Metal thanks to the mastery of their instruments. That's how it's meant to be perceived.

The instrumental with the solos is 'Mischief of the Metal Gods'. The title is a little truncated on the video.
Su sang three solo songs that night.
She did 'No Rain, No Rainbow', followed by 'Akatsuki' earlier in the set.
I already liked BABYMETAL, but these solo songs made me a die hard fan.
And that's the 16 year old Su.
Her voice is even better now that she's 22.

And soon they did their first European tour.
They attracted 40,000 people on the main stage of the Sonisphere Festival UK.
A rondo is a song with a repeating chorus where each verse is given a different musical treatment. The song is of a repeating nightmare of being chased by an unseen demon. In the quiet verse she resigns to her fate but bravely asks the demon to show its form.
The song is also too short. I always want another verse followed by that incredible heavy metal waltz chorus. My favorite of the Su-metal solo songs.

Imagine if you will, a reoccurring nightmare where you are forever chased by a faceless terror. Run as you might you know you will never escape your fate. And so, with your final thoughts you beg a boon for it to show you its face just once before you die.
That is 'Rondo of Nightmare'.
The "Ragdoll" portion was where she was hiding in a fountain trying not to move or be seen.

BTW, "Ragdoll" portion is after she was catched by monster. The "hiding" part is before desperate scream. She screamed while the monster found her and catched.

Great reaction - and good call on supporting Michael Thomas too, nice one. Yes they have two lead guitars ... at a show in Japan earlier this year for one song they had four lead guitars, two bass guitars and two monsters on drums when the Kami Bands of the east and the west joined forces. For that song Su and Moa were also joined on stage by all three 'Avengers' at the same time.

@@mohdazmin0417 Legend Metal Galaxy 2 on January 26th I think - and I believe it was for 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai'. I'm not sure if they did it the day before in Legend Metal Galaxy 1 for 'Road of Resistance' as well, but I think all 3 Avengers were on stage for that song even if the east and west Kami Bands weren't all there.

I told you, that her voice is absolutely amazing :) And yes, the Kami-band members are beasts! They are often overlooked because of the girls, but they are hugely talented as well :)
Her scream in the middle of the song still gives me goosebumps, and her voice during "puppet-mode" is just so clean and beautiful!

Here's another one from your neck of the woods...they are definitely NOT heavy metal, but there's lots of hot licks and runs and the visuals are beautiful. You should also check out BOH and Ohmura sans YT channels. Very down to earth dudes. Ohmura gives lots of lessons. Also, another channel you might want to check out for yourself (not necessarily for reactions) is Yoyoka Soma's channel. She is a 10 year old drummer. She plays super hard and doesn't cover slouches. She can ease into the Purdy shuffle and her triplets are a thing of beauty. Robert Plant was impressed when she covered Zep.

Install Adblock Plus, then pause when end screens come up, open up Adblock and click on "Block element", then click on the end screen until it highlights, click on the "Add" element to blocked list. Do that with a bunch of videos and those add screens stop appearing for future videos.

Really good reaction especially noticed your reaction to Su's voice . You well into the Kami band but i think a bit more emotional about Su vocals and performance might be wrong but i dont think so . Su does that to me all the time . Not forgetting she is just 16 ! at that time 22 now ,all that talent and emotion
