Thanks
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it.
Thanks
Hi, Loe the vids and explanations. However, can you make a video about cues? Thank you!
Sorry for the many ads in this video! As you all know, I am doing this full time, and I've just put so many hours of work into this video that otherwise it wouldn't be profitable. If you want to support, just head over to my shop or my exclusive content. Maybe you'll find something you really like. Links are in the video description. Apart from that, I really hope that you've enjoyed this video and learned something new!
I don't mind the ads as long as I am benefiting from your experience.. I enjoy every minute watching you teaching.. thank you Sharivari.
No adds here. If you play pool, you have to pay for CZcams Premium. Well Worth It!!
@@HillbillyIslandLife or use vanced ;)
best videos ! Watch you from Germany. 👍👍🎱👍
If we have to watch a few ADs to support great content that's fine with me. At least they were placed well. Good luck!
This is easily the best video I've ever seen on this topic. Very thorough and explained incredibly well. I love that you demonstrate the physics going on and how to execute each example. Thank you and please never stop!
Thank you so much!
I love the more technical videos. I appreciate they're difficult to produce, but this is where your channel has tought me many things about the game, despite playing league pool for 20 years!
Same here.
I'm watching your lesson and writing in my Pool Diary. Basically, it's my log of lessons, techniques and all kinds of good stuff I've picked up over the years. All new players should do this! Buy a blank pad and write down what you learn and track your progress with your log book. You will Thank me in 20 years.........Be Good
The clearest and simplest video on spin EVER! The visual lines showing how and why the balls are deflected makes it much easier to remember. Many many thanks 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very good video. Helpful and accurate information.
It's worth adding that compensating for english is further complicated by the equipment and playing conditions.
If you are not playing on a familiar table with familiar balls and a familiar cue and tip, the adjustments change. Dirty worn balls have more cut-induced throw than new or recently-polished balls, and under some circumstances a thing called skid can occur as well. The cue shaft and the hardness of the tip affects deflection. And the cloth's age, cleanliness, and nap affect swerve. In unfamiliar conditions it can be helpful to fall back to using mostly center ball and medium speed, rely on natural roll and speed control for position, then re-introduce english gradually as you become familiar with the conditions.
I'd of been worried about the in off playing this shot at any speed or side so something new I've learned from the Pool master Sharivari 👏👍
Excellent explanation and demonstration. So often I've played against players who do not have this knowledge and they'll miss a shot like this and walk away from the table scratching their head and sometimes even mumbling under their breath like "I can't believe I missed that shot. I hit it right where I wanted or I hit it dead on. How did that not go in?!"
Obviously if I'm competing I'm not going to give advice but as far as my pool league teammates go, I often send your videos to them because it explains it better than I can even if were just having a practice session. That way they can watch, study, and go practice on their own. Many of these things I learned over 45 + years of playing but how good could I have possibly been with this kind of information decades ago?Your explanations don't just help someone play better but help a player to better understand why the balls behave the way they do.
This is better explanation than your other video about aiming with side spin. The key here for easy understanding is you described deflection later than earlier.
That failed replay in black & white reminds me of those old school infomercial products, lol so great.
Love your content, keep rockin bro!
Awesome video! I Have learned so much from your videos and am very grateful that you take the time to produce them in detail.
Wow the effects really allow you to visualize the shot! Thanks, these are getting so good.
Also good aiming with inside english with slow speed is very useful when you want to "kill" the cueball. I use it by cancelling deflection with swerve...
Gotta say editing is fantastic. Informations are clear and easy to process.
Keep growing. Amazing work!
absolutely excellent production shari.... havent been here in a while but as i decide to to return i found great improvement
This is why I feel in love with pool. It’s sooo much to the game and I’m not gonna be satisfied until I get majority of it down. Thanks for the great Videos
FINALLY, a very detailed explaination and super easy to understand. thank you
Very well explained, keep up the good teaching in pool Sharivari🙏🙏🙏
I always watch the CZcams shorts of your videos and it's pretty useful so thanks
Important topic, understandable and comprehensible explained as always. The graphical representation is excellent. Please keep it up.
Finally! This tool is going in the box.
Rock solid stuff. I absolutely LOVE ( because I'm a visual leaner more than auditory ) LOVE, LOVE the tech visuals. A million thx is not enough.
After watching some of your videos I can say that you give the best tutorials! Subbed!
It's always a pleasure watching you. I share your videos with my 8&9ball teams all the time in reference to shots made or missed in matches.
Thank you so much! I hope it actually helps your team to improve :)
Very well explained, one other factor you did not mention that affects spin is the condition or type of cloth👍
I'm hooked on your channel. Your an excellent teacher. God bless.
This is amazing advice. The best explanation of CIT I’ve ever came across
Regarding spin, this is the best explained video I ever find on youtube. I've never understood the physics behind, not the case anymore! Keep up the good work!
Great video with tons of info covering many types of spin! Thanks a lot!
Excellent points but it just highlights how much practice and talent are needed!
Love the advanced lessons
Very informative video and well explained. Even a novice will understand how to aim with side spin.
I thought the "How to Aim with Side Spin" video 3 years ago was amazing and this is seriously just as good! Thanks Sharivari for the amazing work and hours you put into these videos, simplifying the topic of side like no one else does!!
Thank you so much!
This is genius content brother! Thank you for the effort!seems to me the best stroke one could develop is one that is soft enough to reduce deflection but hard enough to reduce spin induced curve, therefore canceling each other.
You make this stuff understandable and memorable -- big thanks!
If a new player is going to be self taught as many players were before the internet he just explaineed what would take literally years of information in just minutes. In fact alot of good players would play by feel while not completely understanding the physics. With me growing up a few people could teach you certain things but the main thing id hear is you just got to keep practicing and you would hear that because they themselves didnt know how to explain how they are so good. Great teacher it took me years to learn all that on my own. Looking forward to learning things I still dont!
Edit: I was given that little red book written by Willie Masconi and was wished the best of luck was about it lol
The best knowledge. Thank u so much for so much hard work u put in pool.
this is unbelievably awesome video in so many ways.. the topics .. editing .. graphics.. example.. all top notch .. i never wanted this video to end .. thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you so much!
Wow thanks this is the theory I am waiting for pool explained in one video.
Thanks for the tips great job.
I can't thank you enough for this video. I have been a fairly decent amateur pool player over the years, but very often stumbled at certain times while not knowing WHY even though I am well aware of deflection. However, that's where my knowledge ended. Very frustrating to say the least. Your EXCELLENT explanation in this video how CUT and SIDE induced throw, in conjunction with DEFLECTION and cue ball SPEED, have given me an entirely new perspective on exactly why I often miss straightforward simple cut shots. This my friend has frustrated me to no end!!! I believe now that I am armed with this wonderful knowledge you supplied, which I intend to practice until it becomes second nature, will no doubt take my game to another level!!! I have shared this video with several of my friends already. THANK YOU!!!! (also.... I just subscribed 👍)
This is THE video that finally, FINALLY, after YEARS of watching other channels, reading books, buying all the latest training/practice aids and never going beyond a beginner level, gave me that awesome AHA moment and really upped my game x10. Thank you so much!
Awesome!
I've been looking for someone to explain these concepts of side spin in detail - much thanks! - very helpful graphics overlays needed to visualize the concepts ...kudos again
Glad it was helpful!
Das sind sehr wertvolle Tipps, super erklärt und wie immer perfekt präsentiert 👍👍
Great video as always! Very well explained 👏
It is amazing information. I wish I could remember everything all at once but I will have to take it one thought/spin at a time! Thank you for the video…
Excellent video you got down and explained it in detail because I still have problems with this situation it seems like when I am in a match I still have to run this though my pre shot … thank you
Excellent video on this topic. 🙌
I strongly suspect that cut-induced throw was responsible for a LOT of my inconsistent gameplay back when I used to play Pool regularly.
The trouble was... I had no idea it was a thing! I was relying on ghost-ball most of the time and scratching my head on occasions where I missed simple shots. 🤦♂️
Thank you SO much for explaining this is such a clear & concise way. 🙏
(P.S. - Been a happy subscriber for the past few months - keep up the great work! 👍)
I especially love the camera point of view from the shooter's position. Excellent tutorials!
Excellent video extremely detailed thanks for all the information you've given us it means so much!
Very well done Shariva👍👍ri. Thank you.
Best video yet by far thanks a lot! Now I know why I miss on elevated cue shots😂
Great video!! You are the best at explaining things so a wide variety will understand 😉
Yay! Thank you!
With such continually great content, you'll be at 400K subscribers in no time! I loved this one!
Thank you!
Phenomenal explanation and demonstration. thanks very much!
The '50 yard line shot' comes up all the time and almost exclusively by mistake. This is definitely a shot one needs to be proficient at. Excellent explanation.
Great explanation of how to run an 8 ball table with best positioning ball-to-ball!!
You really explain well. Great video.
I have been having a really tough time figuring out how to change my aim using side spin. This video was SPOT ON. Thanks Sharivari!!!!!
I just wondered around your channel, only playing online pool. Very well done! Also congratulations on the last shot! You need to trust yourself more apparently! :) the explanation of the physics helps so much to understand what i see. Normally it is too fast for me to comprehend, your explanation is very much appreciated! :)
I was dealing with this problem for a while. Thanks to this video finally found so many answers!!!
That's the video that I was looking for 😭, thank you so much for your effort and teaching kind
Respect brother been watching you years inn the madness of pool you always seem to help.Simlar job to my psychiatrist.😂 you help greatly when I hit the pool brick wall
Respect.
Great video, mate. Keep em coming.
Great video, because sometimes i forget to adjust while playing and wonder why I missed the shot.
Excellent video thank you Sharivari!
Thank you for making this great video !!
Improved my skills by seeing your video . Your explanation is great
@1:55 for many this is also known as TOO (Touch of Outside). It just makes aiming a little easier. And if one use this knowledge together with TOI (Touch of Inside), they could have a very solid pocketing skills.
Earl Strickland vouches this in his videos where he commentated matches. He says it all the time when it comes to pocketing balls.
Great video, I love your instructions and demonstrations, big fan!!!
The way I compensate that you did not mention is I almost never shoot at the center of the pocket. I just figure out which way the object ball will be thrown or spin off line and aim at the opposite “horn” of the pocket and the ball will automatically drift towards the center of the pocket. This drastically increases the margin of error giving you a much “wider” pocket to shoot at.
Great tutorial. Super clear. Thanks for the demonstration!
Excellent explanation and video! Thank you!
This is an AWESOME video for 98% of it! At 14m15sec you swerve the CB to demonstrate how tought it is to compensate aiming when elevated. My 2 cents: You DO NOT hit that shot hard at all, you are barely making it back to the rail you were hitting from, so my guess is 55% at most. What you need to understand is that AS LONG AS THERE IS BACKSPIN, there is no curve. You could make your point much better by hitting higher on your CB and it would barely curve, if any, by the time you hit the 1 rail.
In short: YOU CAN AIM with side spin when elevating without compensating for swerve, as long as there is backspin remaining at contact! There could be a whole video about that, which has never been made yet from what I've seen... :)
Thanks again for such great content!!!!
Amazing explanation. 💯💯
Thank you so much for your instructional videos. They are amazing and very very helpful
Glad you like them!
Really great video explaining these physics! Can you do a video on spin transfer(not spin induced throw) but how hitting left on the cue ball makes the object ball rotate right... maybe talk about hitting 2frozen balls with left “gears” the balls
great video and leant so much already from it. thank you.
No problem.
Enjoy your videos.
You have to love
Thanks
Very valuable information thank you Sharivari.
I know I am a little late to the party but this video has completely changed how I envision cut shots with and without sidespin. Your ability to explain it in a way that makes total sense to me is amazing. Please keep up the fantastic work.
I am glad I could help with this video. Thank you so much!
I agree..The best i've seen on this topic.. Ur a good teacher...
Learned a lot from u😎👌
Glad it was helpful!
Grateful for your teachings.
Great explanation! Thank you!
THANK YOU, this clears up alot!
Great vid!.... this is ESSENTIAL 👍🇳🇿🎱
Thank you for the aiming with side spin video. I now actually understand why I have missed some shots and know how to practice for this.
well explained. i finally understand this tricks. thank you.
I've been waiting for this
Well done & thank you Capt.
Best pool video ever on aiming with spin, thanks.
Glad it helped!
Amazing video it really helped me to learn how spin works I never quite understood it😂
Always great graphics in ur vids.. 👌

Fantastic
I am 3-cushion billiards fanatic
But really appreciated the lesson
Thanx!!!
Very well explained. Cheers
This video IS H U G E !!! To even the really good player, it heightens ones awareness.
Amazing video!
Excellent animation, very easy to understand! Can you please show how you adjust you cue to apply this spin? Do you move your front hand, or back hand, or parallel shift? Thanks for another great video.
Will do soon!
@@Sharivari thank you!
Always move back hand to cancel deflection
Great video 👍
Excellent video.
