I went to ASR San Diego in 1996, and one of the most memorable moments was walking out front and seeing Koston and Lance Mountain together walk by, Koston had a board in his hand, threw it down and did a frontside slappy, snapped it up and kept walking like nothing happened.

Long answer --> Carve up to the curb with your weight on your heels and bash the fuck outta it. It helps if you kinda push your front foot up the side of the curb when your wheels hit it. Slappy's are the easy/hardest trick ever invented.
Short answer--> bash your front truck into that fucker over and over again till you accidentally ride up the curb. Have fun yo!

Thank you for the video. I'm an old guy who started skating in the seventies I shattered my pelvis a few years ago and now my leg is 2 in longer than the other and I cannot Ali to save my life. My life has been reduced to Slappy grinds but I'm still a very very happy person with my skateboard. Long live the slappy

j'ai commandé l'eau tutorial: skate fast at a curb, skate into the curb, stay on the board (or don’t) skate back off the curb, drink a brew,or coke, or wine or whatever, repeat. some of them are that simple, some are more like half ass powerslides. just spend hours at a curb and have fun
