“He might have the best tre flip in the game, nobody does it like him” ... that is a HUGE compliment considering that it’s Chris Cole saying that. The guy who tre flipped Wallenberg
I hate when they play it safe. That is the reason why I don't watch SLS anymore, I was tired of seeing that kind of garbage in skateboarding. Come on! It's skateboarding!
Yup. I'm the same age as him and I used to see him at Cerritos skate park back in middle school. He used to be there everyday and would be fuckin shredding... They used to call him lil Chris back then. Look at him now!
5 years later and I just saw Joslin at SLS 2022 and he was killing it and then still hitting street spots at night after the prelims. A true skater. Btw if you haven’t seen his new part in Plan B: Code -watch it. He could for sure be the first one to BS flip El Toro after what he did in that part.
nahh he's already stated he prolly wont go back to el toro. he was insanely close to tre flipping it, but i think the gap is just too physically taxing
It's so weird, sad, and then inspiring to find out this dude is the same age as me and he is already considered one of the greatest skaters of all time, meanwhile here's me picking up a board for the first time about a year ago and trying to get better everyday.
Just be inspired bro. Try not to be negative. People like Chris and Nyjah have been skating since before they could walk pretty much (not sure about Chris but I assume that's the case). I'm 32 and am just getting back into skating and I just want to enjoy it. Just enjoy any progress you make.
Alex Wolfenstein Wolstencroft hes not drinking a rockstar hahahah it’s a water bottle with a rockstar sticker on it. Only a deranged crackhead would start chugging an energy drink after exerting themself like that
Crazy that Chris Cole is commentating. He is an absolute BEAST of a skater. I met him at my local skatepark 17 years ago (as a preteen) and he was so good I just couldn't believe it. The power in his tricks and how effortlessly he got 3x as much air as any other pro on the Zero team was unreal. Great guy too. Still have the shirt he autographed. 🤘
Jolson is one of the most humble & genuine men of our times. Raised by his grandmother & now a father of a beautiful little girl, he’s one heck of a role model.
This dude is literally the future of skating. He is crazy good at every type of skating and he just randomly throws tricks with ease. Looks the best in my opinion
I remember seeing this and starting back skating just because of that massive transfer from quarter pipe to quarter pipe! I realised that day I wanted to feel a Air at least once in my life. Couldn’t 50/50 or even rock to fakie. Now 4 years later, I Blunt half-cab out and can nearly go over the pipe when I frontside Air, but damn, it feels good and it all started when I seen this! Hahahaha thanks Joslin and Thanks SLS for providing us with such good content all the time! 👌💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was around the same time he had his first child If I'm not mistaken. Can't stop the hunger of a man with a new born cub !!! I've seen it in athletes throughout different individual sports (Boxing, Swimming, MMA). This video gives me chills cause it set the precedent for the rest of his career in SLS: Go hard or go home!!!!!
He could've but he gave away around 3 runs trying an Ollie gap to fakie. If i was him i would of done it as my last best trick section, so that i can have a comfortable lead and just fuck around.
Sam Clark doesn't seem to make much sense to leave a comment about Street League anywhere else but the comment section of one of their vids. Isn't that the point of comment sections?
His runs were on point but when he got to the best trick part of the competition he wasted too many attempts trying to backside ollie to fakey the channel gap. If he wouldn't have got so hung up on landing that trick he could've pulled some other shit (like a bigger flip or hardflip-late back 180 over the gap to flat) and won the contest.
I'm so happy I have his name as my gamertag on Xbox. He's such a beast and only at 19 years old... He's only gonna get better which is pretty scary stuff. You can see just how much he loves skateboarding. I love it.
***** Someone's jealous. ***** Yes my gamertag. My favourite skateboarder, well one of them. That'd be like having the gamertag of your celebrity crush (not that I have a crush on Chris, but you know what I mean). It's awesome. I get people who tell me in game chat that they like my gamertag or know who it is lol. Pretty cool. Plus, it's better than having x's in my gamertag, or people that use numbers, or shit like "Lol you mad" and whatnot.
Did they really count that 360 after the buzzer? His tail definitely did not pop and none of the casters brought it up. But with a 9.2 it seems the judges did.
Chipz Damn dude haha. I think you must be new to SLS because the rule has been clearly stated in every past event that I have watched. You don't have to come at me for no reason like I'm an idiot without anything to back up your statement. They mention the tail slap before the buzzer all the time.
I think they just counted because they could you know. It's not like he was a full 5 seconds off, more like a second off from him popping his trick so they gave it to him. I'm sure none of the pros are complaining. It was a sick run.
“He might have the best tre flip in the game, nobody does it like him” ... that is a HUGE compliment considering that it’s Chris Cole saying that. The guy who tre flipped Wallenberg
He obviously hasn’t seen nyjahs tre😂 effortless.
@@clucatero9328 I’d choose raw style over effortless and “steez”

It's actually fun to watch contests when people don't play it safe like this.
COMiKON yes it is. If the judges penalize being safe then it would stop it.

Joslin the type of guy to watch himself skate seconds earlier and get psyched out by how good it was.

Don’t sweat it, he started skating when he was like 4 I believe, grew up 2 blocks away from him, he was really good at a very young age
Amazing, Joslin you're one of my favorite skaters and a inspiration/role model
How is anything this guy does possible?
Like, honestly. This dude is revolutionary. Rasing the bar.
