    How far back does this seat go?😅 Am I going to have to have the front seat so far forward to fit it in?

    This cat seat is dangerous and needs to be recalled. No matter what we try, we cannot get the seat tightened enough with the latch anchors. Then, using the seat belt, we tighten it, and it very quickly begins to loosen at the belt path when agitated. This is apparently very common and I wish I knew before buying it. I loved the design of the car seat, though I didn’t realize it only rotates when rear facing (which I don’t really care about since I plan to rear face for a long time.) but the inability to install it correctly makes it useless.

      Have you reached out to Graco Baby Directly? I would really strongly encourage you to do so if you haven't. This is critical feedback and they should hear it directly from consumers. Here is the number for you. I am sorry you are unhappy with it. 1-800-345-4109

    Does it swivel in both rear-facing and front-facing?

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem +2

      Just swivels toward either door when it is installed in a rear facing mode. So forward Facing is a stationary position that will not swivel toward the door.

    Can a toddler sit front facing and be turned left or right. Or does the swivel only work when rear facing.

    Hello-
    Nice video!
    Quick question:
    I heard that this car seat is hard to clean. Like you can’t put the base part where a lot of food and drink leaks go.
    Any opinion on this?

  • @xueveeyang663
    @xueveeyang663 Před rokem +3

    Does this seat rotate in the forward facing position as well? Or only when rear facing?

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem +1

      This seat only rotates toward the door when it is installed in rear facing mode. In forward facing mode it will not have any rotation toward the door. Hope this helps!

      @@destinationbabykids golly, that’s bogus. Such a disappointment us parents are trying to save our backs with these forward facing bigger kids.

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem

      @@girlandhermakeup4629 Evanflo and Cybex both do the 360 turning. So those could be a good option if you want that full rotation with bigger kids.

    I’m kind of confused about why you’d need to turn a car seat? What am I missing/not thinking about? Maybe in a certain car?

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem

      Because if you have a baby that is large or heavy turning the seat toward the door for taking the child in and out is considerably easier than a stationary rear facing seat. You have the entire seat facing you at the door so tightening, loosening, and adjusting any of the harness component is easier. They aren't a necessity but they are a pretty useful option.

      I will say my back is so thankful for the rotating car seats. Especially in a small car since with a regular car seat I’d have to put my son in very awkwardly to get him in the car seat (he’s rear facing and my car is small)

    can you fit 3 of these side by side in the backseat of a car?

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem

      I doubt it. The other thing is you need to have space on the side of the rotating car seats for them to turn. The only 3 across I know would fit that also turns would be the evenflo revolve 360 SLIM. Those would all fit but I’m not sure how much turn you’d be able to utilize based on spacing.

    I have a graco base car seat from newborn can i use the same base?

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem +1

      No. The Turn 2 Me has all of the parts attached to it and there is not a removable component like there is on the infant seat. Great question :)

    Hi! Great video thank you so much! In your opinion, is not having an anti rebound plate a dealbreaker? Why or why not?

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem +2

      Hi there! Great question. It is always awesome when a seat has one but it isn't a deal breaker for me if a seat doesn't. My overarching goal is to advocate for extended rear facing where the child sits backward in the car seat for as long as possible and I do think that rotating seats help keep that behavior going longer than you would if you didn't have the rotating feature. My preference is that all seats eventually include an anti rebound feature but I certainly wouldn't say it's a deal breaker.

    Thank you for your video! How would you make the baby harness straps longer if you accidentally made the baby too snug with their seat belt?

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem

      Car seats have a release tab or button you have to engage in order to loosen the harness. Typically on most brands this is located between the child's legs. You press the tab/button and then pull on the harness away from the child's body to loosen it.

    What do you recommend between this car seat and the Evenflo® Gold Revolve360 Extend Rotational Car Seat with SensorSafe™

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem

      Both are great. If you want the 360 turning I would go with the Revolve. If you are ok with the turning only being rear facing the graco is an incredible value.

    Almost $500 for a CARSEAT and thats not considered premium?

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Před rokem +2

      It's a very expensive seat for Graco because Graco as a brand isn't a premium brand. They are a mass merchant brand but I agree this seat is pricey and it has features that make it compete will with the more "premium" brands.
