Hi i got a similar problem with my e46 i've had my camera working for about 1 year recently my rca cable split in half due to chafing on metal. I then brought a new cable the yellow ended male one it worked for 1 day when to drive for next day a noticed it wasnt working all i get is a black screen. camera led lights still come on so i know camera is still working tried unplugging rca cables on both ends and still nothing really need help as i'm stumped on what to try next thanks
Do you have a spare rca jack. If yes, bypass the old one. Let me know

Everything was working but then suddenly screen went black. Cabling is fine. Why is the video black. Has to be some setting right?
Try to unplug the negative side of your battery for 1 minute

What about sound?
@Khmer Ohio sound from device? Music, radio? It works. The light around the camera comes on aswell.
The camera worked and then next day it didn't. No change to cabling. It must be some setting on the device
Hi, I have the same problem, my camera has stopped working after one week. Now I have only black screen and trajectory lines. The led lights are on. Did you solve your problem?
It looks very difficult because of all the different wires.
I need help with the camera issue with the Android unit . I have the red wire connected to brake light and black to ground . In the front RCA is to camera wire (trigger wire) .. what about the white wire .? Where does that go .? I have nothing coming on the screen
I dont think the white wire is the reverse wire
When i get to the shop, i will look at it but i think the pink wire is reverse at the screen
What if it is already plugged in to the camera rca and it’s still black ?
You will need to see if the camera received voltage should be 12vt

The last to check is the rca jack. Do you have one to check ?

I got that head unit but no backup reverse lines in screen. Anyone know what ROM has this ?

You should tell your viewers to unplug the camera from the back of the android because that’s what I did and the camera came on
So you're saying not to plug the camera into the head unit at all?
