Kofi’s title reign was awesome in my opinion except for the way it ended.
It really amazes me that Kofi Kingston never won a rumble match after pulling off all those tactics to avoid getting eliminated.
i was hoping this year kofi would go in as WWE champion and would use all his royal rumble tactics to keep his championship until finally getting thrown out in the final moments for the emotional value but oh well.....
Kofi is like the "anti-Kane" in that regard: Kane has, overall, eliminated so many people over so many Royal Rumbles yet somehow always wound up never winning one; Kofi has found so many brilliant ways to NOT be eliminated , yet has never won one. It is Alpha Offense vs. Alpha Defense, and neither one getting what they deserve!

I'm calling Kacy Catanzaro will essentially become the female version of John Morrison, and Kofi Kingston meaning she'll be a human-highlight reel when it comes to the Royal Rumble/Battle Royal match due to her using her agility to avoid getting eliminated in the most innovated/creative ways ever seen.

You forgot about John Morrison. I don't remember exactly which Rumble it was but he was on the apron and got knocked off. While being knocked off he clung to the barricade like Spider-Man, climbed on top of the barricade, tight rope walked it, and jumped on to the steel steps.

Tactics are underused in the Rumble. Realistically, heels could exit the ring, grab weapons and just rest. It would make for an interesting situation where the action is both inside and outside the ring but would be more realistic.

You know, everyone seems to think Big E is the one who will turn on the New Day, but I'm not so sure. I think I'd almost rather see Xavier turn. The guy's mic skills and ring work are both understated and underrated. Call me a mark for the the guy, but I think he's the most talented and well rounded of the trio. Or just turn the whole stable heel. I'm ok with that, too.

Got to admit I’m a sucker for Jericho’s last proper rumble stay the one that was over 60+ minutes and making him the longest overall competitor ever, where he just took a dirty finisher rolled out for 5 minutes came back in and repeated until the final 4, minutes 2nd to the final 4 just while getting trashed 👍👍👍

Hey, you have to give props to Shawn Michaels and John Morrison before Kofi. The only reason Kofi's spots even became a thing was because Morrison left the company.
I hate it too...but I'd put Hornswoggle on this list. Hid instead of entering, sneaking out to tug people off the ropes, and then finally being saved by his bodyguard

Jake Roberts brings his snake into the ring. Lawler slides under the bottom rope, and hides under the ring for about 10 minutes until being retrieved by Shawn Michaels.
Everyone in the ring went under the bottom rope Lawler just took it a step further by hiding under the ring . How about when Ted DiBiase bought number 30 in 1989 ?

Rumble 1996 he was eventually caught and eliminated by the winner Shawn Michaels .
I would say that Ted DiBiase buying number 30 in 1989 was pretty cowardly .
Just want to point out personally that Jake Roberts/Andre thing was kinda shitty. Andre had a clear phobia of snakes, like cardiac arrest levels of fear for the slimy little scabs and literally the only way to eliminate the World's Largest Athlete without diminishing his in-ring skills was to use his fear. Excellent heel heat but poor taste IMO

Actually, The Rock was the one who claimed the bounty. Unfortunately, Mankind threw his money to the crowd like a complete fool. Since I was always a huge fan of The Rock especially when he was a heel, that pissed me off for what Mankind did to his money.
How about Rey Mysterio standing on guys who were eliminated in 2009 note this was after Matt Hardy standing on his partner Shannon Moore but before Kingston or Morrison and their craziness .

That was in a Battle Royal which aired 23rd February 1995 on Superstars . He did a memorable spot in the 1996 Rumble though after Jake Roberts brought his python in the ring everyone cleared out once Jake got the snake back in the bag everyone came back in except for Lawler who spent half the match hiding under the ring .
