Bill Hader is the goat of impressions! We're looking at the SNL alum's best impersonations from Prince Philip to Clint Eastwood. #billhader #comedy #snl #impression #celebrity
The Alan Alda is one of his most underrated impersonations. It is so hard to nail that voice, attitude, and cadence it's not even funny. But you literally can't tell the difference between Hader & Alda himself. Also...who out here is even attempting Alan Alda impressions to begin with!? That in itself is amazing enough.
The whole series of Vincent Price specials that SNL did with Bill are hilarious. Some of the best writing and talent they ever put forward. Bill’s smooth movement from Vincent in character to Vincent trying to get the folks from the “office” to do their job right is pretty amazing.
Most of them were terrible tbh. I thought the point was an impressionist is that you could tell who they are impersonating without needing a line of text to tell you. His Malkovich impression is better than the ones shown here (except Pacino).
I still can't get over his Alan Alda. I just watched a video of Alda getting a Emmy or something and it's indistinguishable from the real Alan Alda. Same accent, same pitch, everything.
The Alan alda impression is on another level. He's so good at voice control but alot of his impressions sound like bill Hader doing and impression. Alda just sounds so good to my ear
I’m almost 100% certain I was shown parts of this video in the early 90s at church in primary, specifically the parts with Joseph Smith. I wouldn’t doubt if some part of the church used this or even redid the audio to reframe things to look better for them. Looking back I wonder if one of the teachers was trying to show people the craziness but couldn’t get out of the church themselves for whatever reason.
I did that joke to my boss at 14 years old "why dont you make like a tree and get out of here " he yelled at me "its leaves ITS LEAVES!! Of your going to do it say it right!" Haha i said that before i seen this clip now im 29
I like how a lot of his impressions are people too obscured by age that most of Bill’s audience probably doesn’t even know them. The Alda impression would have gotten a way bigger response if anyone in the crowd had seen MASH.
As someone who grew up around a lot of crackpot conspiracy theorists and even used to be one, I think a lot of people do this to try and feel like they're "helping" the person they idolized so much and somehow returning the favor for whatever they got out of them. They're powerless in the situation, and so the only way they can feel powerful is by infantilising their idol so that they can come to the rescue in their own mind and give themselves some kind of bow on the end of the parasocial relationship to feel like they're assisting a friend by "finding the truth". They unfairly shovel their hopes and dreams on these people, and when they die, that illusion of control over their own lives dies. And they make it the problem of whatever scapegoat is around, whether it's women or vague government boogeymen or whatever ethnic group they don't like. This kind of behavior comes from the same fundamental sense of unfulfillment that drove many of the tragic public figures like John and Kurt to seek out fame in the first place. The feeling that there's just got to be "something else". But there just isn't.
He's not really doing Prince Philip. The sketch concept is that when they're alone, the royal family speaks in a rough, lower class accent. The person he's talking to in that scene (Anne Hathaway) literally has just finished saying to him, "why are you talking like that?" So it's sort of mislabeled.
All very accurate impersonations EXCEPT Prince Phillip. Of course, there are some working class Englishmen, typically from the "East End" of London, who do have a Cockney accent (as portrayed here). Members of the upper class speak very, very differently.
Regardless of how good Bill Hader's other impressions are (also, one or two were hard for me to judge, as an Englishman), I don't think Prince Phillip as a 'Cockney' Londoner works AT ALL as an 'impression', so, imo, by DEFAULT is not - as it really CAN NOT - be accurate.. 🤷♂️.. tbh, the BEST impression I've seen Bill Hader perform (again imo, but not shown here, anyway) is of Arnold Schwarzenegger... 👍
His Alan Alda and Keith Morrison are spot on😂
I was just going to post that!!!😂
That Alan Alda is freaky convincing!
My pants get higher every movie
No way Bill nailed Alan Alda's unique ideolect

Bill Hader is a national treasure lmao 😂

Alan alda must be freaked out hearing an echo he didn't make. 😂
The Alan Alda is the best impression I've ever seen of anybody anywhere
Ever.
The Daniel Day Lewis skit was great!
The Alan Alda is 🏆.
Alan Alda was spot on.
Exactly. He sounded just like him.
Alan Alda is a super nice guy… that’s what Bill managed to capture, apart from voice and mannerisms…
The Clint Eastwood impression, is a 2 for 1 special. He looks like Neil Patrick Harris doing an impression of Clint Eastwood 😅
What a great talent- the DD Lewis and Alan Alda are hilarious
This guy’s a treasure. That last one. Eastwood😂
The cantaloupe one has me in tears 😂 I'll lose my mind!
The whole series of Vincent Price specials that SNL did with Bill are hilarious. Some of the best writing and talent they ever put forward. Bill’s smooth movement from Vincent in character to Vincent trying to get the folks from the “office” to do their job right is pretty amazing.
I don't think I've seen anybody ever do an Alan Alda impression and that was one of the most spot impressions I've ever heard.
I cannot believe how spot on his alan alda is. It's uncanny
That was nothing like Prince Philip! 🤣🤣
The skit was an exaggeration AS IF the Prince's "real" accent was lowerclass London.
Very well done, Bill!
@@patgreasley1333 But it was still a shit accent.
@NoBSTravelChannel it's that classic "british" accent Anericans do that sounds like a 50/50 mix of East London and Australian
Most of them were terrible tbh.
I thought the point was an impressionist is that you could tell who they are impersonating without needing a line of text to tell you.
His Malkovich impression is better than the ones shown here (except Pacino).
I used to go drinking with Phil, it's exactly how he sounded
As a huge Vincent Price fan, that was one of the most inoffensive and funny impressions of Price I have ever seen.
Everyone’s talking about the Alan Alda impression but Bill’s Vincent Price is just 🤌🤌
Man his Alan Alda and Keith Morrison are crazy! If you weren’t seeing him do it, you’d have no idea it wasn’t the real people.
Hader the last true legend of SNL!
I still can't get over his Alan Alda. I just watched a video of Alda getting a Emmy or something and it's indistinguishable from the real Alan Alda. Same accent, same pitch, everything.
Wow. His Alda is perfect!
The Clint Eastwood pants at the end was so unexpected
He does the Vincent Price one for a few characters, and it is definitely one of my favorites.
That Alan alda thought sheeeeesh
I swear they have him looking almost identical to Keith Morrison it’s insane!! 😳😱😅😂😂

I thought he was Henry Caville in the first one.
He nailed Alan Alda. ❤
Hader is king
His Alda is sensational.
I was waiting for John malkovich
But he doesn't sound anything like that.
I love him so much! 😂
This is really fascinating
My favorite cast member.
So talented. And cute!
He does an amazing Arnold too
BRILLIANCE. COMEDIC BRILLIANCE.
I DRINK IT UP!
The Alan alda impression is on another level. He's so good at voice control but alot of his impressions sound like bill Hader doing and impression. Alda just sounds so good to my ear

Rrrrrraaaaaannnnnndddddoooom. And he's hilarious but it's always Just Hader
Should have put his tom cruise impression on this. Its crazy good
Vincent price lmao legendary
Absolute genius
Bill Harder and rainn Wilson are the same person
I feel the same way about cantaloupes.

His Keith Morrison is less about Sounding like him and more like nailing all his Inflections, Like when Zach Hadel does Trump lmfao
The Clint Eastwood one was the best
I like how a lot of his impressions are people too obscured by age that most of Bill’s audience probably doesn’t even know them. The Alda impression would have gotten a way bigger response if anyone in the crowd had seen MASH.
I wonder if Alan Alda does a Bill Hader impression?
Why does his Clint Eastwood look like Neil Patrick Harris?!
Big fan of Kids.
You forgot Malkovich!!!
And
He sounds
Exactly like
John
Mal
Ko
Vich
Awww no John Malkovich impression? He does it in front of JM himself and is one of his best ever impressions.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The There Will Be Blood skit is offensively bad but he does a great impression
Alsn Alda was his best impresh. I close my eyes BH=AA
He always shows his leadership capabilities
😂
Prince Phillip didnt sound like Mick Jagger
That is definitely not Prince Philip.
He's not really doing Prince Philip. The sketch concept is that when they're alone, the royal family speaks in a rough, lower class accent. @@Eric-mx9us It's still rubbish though
I think the Alan alda could easily be Casey kasim not sure spelling is correct
Shame his Vincent Price is so far off cause i love his voice!! But he nailed a lot of these
Not sure I’d call the Prince Philip an impression
Bill hader vs Jim carrey
Is Keith Morrison Daniel Tosh's dad? They look like the same person.
Barry Berkman
No John Malkavich?
All very accurate impersonations EXCEPT Prince Phillip. Of course, there are some working class Englishmen, typically from the "East End" of London, who do have a Cockney accent (as portrayed here). Members of the upper class speak very, very differently.
I had to protect your anonynmity. I COULD REDO IT.
That wasn't a Prince Phillip impression. He had a very distinctive and easily parodied voice- but it wasn't that.
..,...came here to post about how great the Alan Alda is..........nevermind.

who else thought the pic of prince philip was joe biden photoshopped a little ? just me, okay
Bill Hader’s impressions sound like Bill Hader doing an impression of Bill Hader doing impressions.
It’s not pronounced Sam hàin it’s sawwan
It’s pagan Celtic Halloween tradition
Just saying
His Prince Philip was spot on 👍🏻
