Slipknot blew finding replacements out of the water. Jay and V-Man have been absolute godsends for this band, and I think we've all fallen in love with Tortilla Man at this point, even if only for the comedic relief he brings onstage.

@@DanT2406 He uses A Customs as crashes. They're considered to be pretty brittle for heavy hitters but are used by a lot of heavy drummers! I'm sure hitting them at this pace, they would only last a couple of shows.

Jay is the most Slipknot thing to happen to Slipknot in years! He was a fan from childhood and he worked his ass off his whole life to get where he is. He auditioned for Slipknot after they had joey jordison and the guys still thought Jay was good enough to play for them! That's fuckin sick if u ask me. Jay saved Slipknot in my opinion
On a side note though I must say that I don't think Jay is as technical in some applications like joey was but Jay is a solid and groovy drummer and his fuckin dad is one of the best drummers to ever exist... This guy is what Slipknot is all about. I love joey just as much as the next person but you gotta accept this for what it is and move on!

Rock and metal go hand in hand. For a few years I watched this young man play with the E Street Band and then I watch him as a maggot. You can absolutely hear his jazz roots bleed thru. And I freakin love it. You're talking jazz, classic rock, and metal. That's why music is considered the one and only universal language.

Slipknot members NEVER fail to impress...they are certainly one of the best bands on the planet &Jay Weinberg is a part of that.
Joey was a huge part of what attracted me to Slipknot in 1999. Everything this kid has done in the studio and on the road is solid. There's really no debating that. He's a hard worker and and (as hard as it must be to be a 40-sumpthin 9-piece) works well with others. He's the kid in the crew, and seems to have renewed the spice to what we grew to know and love.

I'm late to the Slipknot party and as such entered during the Jay years. So surprised to see the Joey vs Jay arguments. Amazed that it's even a thing. Both are freakin' machines and personally I think each brings their essential skills to the current evolution of the band at that time. An aside....NERO FORTE is (IMO) one of the greatest metal songs of all time....I just can't get enough of it...it makes me drive faster than the assigned speed limit.

Ele errou coisas simples, coisas que ele mesmo criou e tocou durante pelo menos 15 anos.
O Jay é sangue novo, extremamente competente. O talento é família, seu pai, o Max Weinberg é outro baterista fantástico!
