"Jib in Town"...LMAO That reminded me of the first night's snow in Tahoe not being able to wait until the lift opened-up in the A.M. "hoggie-bobbin" down the street and piling neighbors' snow high enough to drop from the roof, catch some ice, and land in the (bare) parking lot!! Good times...NOT!! Great memories though:) :) How we ever managed to make it to base-lift (first and last) the following day is ANYONE's guess...but we did.

I think that european educational systems focus more on north american geo-political stuff than theirs do on us europeans, but that doesn't condemn them to be "ignorant" or "stupid" it's just a different culture. That's what we europeans forget, even though we may have the same language and origin.
I love americans and canadians, but I'm not especially fond of american international politics. ;)

@City Life I'm European and did a season out in Tahoe. Was quite shocked that no one seemed to have any idea regarding skiing in the alps besides maybe extreme Chamonix etc. I enjoyed Skiing in North America and did a little tour in the East and the Rockies but for me, nothing even comes close to the Alps for overall experience.
