@@alexandruaxentioi3006Objectively the cinematic was bad but leadership said it was them and not the team that dropped the ball on the cinematic. Also it did LOOK good. If the title was "Summoner's Rift Reimagined" or something it would've don't well. Just not 2023 cinematic material.

Really enjoyed how short that tid bit with Jhin was but i assume it was Samira giving Jhin her eye in exchange for guns. Some kind of deal was made and that made it even more hype.

Except that Jhin was her last opponent and I’m wrong and stupid upon watching this video again. But I do like the idea of her taking something like an eye from him, but I think the bit at the beginning showing her before losing her eye is when it took place, when whatever unseeable force attacked her during her training (just as a little bit of backstory for her character)
I enjoy the detail in how sad viego looks during the fight. That he’s constantly mourning the lose of his girl even as he’s cutting bullets
Also funny part is that Samira has a voice-line talking about not needing to reload her guns cuz it's magic lmaooo

This was one of those MAPPA studios anime fights, it was amazing. Especially when it was at it's climax, very fluid animations. I love Riot's animation team so much

I love that this event plays with the original LoL lore - where Summoner's Rift was indeed an in-universe arena where the champions competed. Love it, it was the first thing that made me fall in love with the game 10 years ago.
Now the lore is completely different and I get why, but I always missed this "competition" aspect of it. Love this gamemode, the lore/theme, the music... I hope it stays forever

In the old Lore, due to the runic wars that almost destroyed the world, people choose yo create the summoners rift between demacia and noxus (because they were always fighting) a place were summoners from runeterra could go to fight yo choose Who was right in a disagreement, so lol players are summoners that summon champions (Who choosed to join the league of leguends according to the old Lore) to fight on the summoners rift
I kinda agree but the fact that all champions (not matter what their lore was) were fighting for their region was kinda dull
