Nice Review as always. For the money and size it does not seem a bad unit
Very good review as always, seeing the Deja vu album just over your left shoulder made me dig my copy out and put it on. what a great album it is
Thank you Ger and yes, indeed it is :)
Very interesting, I nearly bought an Arylic Bluetooth receiver from eBay but luckily they were showing out of stock. Don’t forget that buying from China you have to add 20% vat in the UK.
Instead I went for the Bludento BLT-2 at under £60. It only took a week to arrive from them directly from China. It is very well made and I am extremely delighted with it through a Technics integrated amp and Gale Gold Monitor speakers using Apple Music from an iPhone 11. It uses a Texas Brown Burr DAC with Bluetooth 5.1. Very little money for what is in my opinion a brilliant little device. I find myself listening to it all day without getting tired. Not quite as good as CD or vinyl but believe me it’s not far off. Maybe not quite as much air or sound stage but it’s very very enjoyable. I like it so much in fact that I intend to buy another for use in the bedroom and also get the slightly more expensive HD version to use on my better hi-fi just to see if it is better still.
You should review one Paul to see how it rates as you are more used to using more expensive products.
Hi Tony - The Bacon Lettuce Tomato is a new one on me. I'll certainly make a note. Thanks.
@@TheAudiophileMan on eBay it’s advertised as a true hifi unit replacement for the Audioengine B1 at a quarter of the cost. I thought I would give it a try after being disappointed by cheaper units. I could not afford the recommended iFi Zen Blue and think it’s brilliant in my opinion.
@@TheAudiophileMan I should have added it’s certainly a name that you are unlikely to forget!
I had first also connecting problems etc, a restore factory settings, long pressing the reset button, after the first update improve all.
Thank you for another great review, Sir. My great concern and an absolutely no-go for me is: With Qobuz it is NOT GAPLESS yet. I tried the A30 and A50 and my question to the company if the 30+ still remains "gapfull" is still unanswered. I love price and small footprint of their tiny gear.
Maybe you have checked if the 30+ is gapless? If so, I would by a bunch of it.
So, Regards and best wishes from Germany,
Achim
Thanks for your kind words. According to the company, "Sorry we don't support gapless currently."
I can't speak for the A30 but do have the Arylic S10 and found that while it doesn't do gapless on your own stored files, it did gapless for Spotify and didn't insert a gap when playing music (this is assuming you've already selected gapless in Spotify first). Maybe worth checking if it does the same for the other streaming services?
Hi Paul on the timings you have VS Bluetooth twice. The second title should be VS USB.
Well spotted, Robert. Thanks. I’ll sort it when I get to my computer.
@@TheAudiophileMan No problem Paul.
Not a bad unit for the cash paid, but if you don't need the ethernet streaming part I find the Aiyima Tube T9 or it's clone the Douk Audio ST-01 to be excellent amp/DAC's for the same or a bit less money. Plenty of strong, clean actually lively Class D power and tons of inputs. Give it a try!
Thanks for the tips, Michael.
Does it work with PlayFi ?
I got the arylic S50, and it was great until I had to reinstall windows now it won't recognize content on my DNLA server (it still sees the folders). so its an expensive paperweight now. unless I stream from my phone, which is not ideal.
Thanks for the insight. Useful info.
Hi sir
The name is awfully close to AURALiC.
