  • Common problem when the remote control stops working and the interior lights also don't work.
    This is on a 2001 Golf but will be similar for cars such as the Passat.

      Then its a case of calling in a locksmith or your breakdown service provider.

    if it only was that easy the defect :) not always all the time this easy, sometimes often its the doorlock actuator itself and that is little more pain in the neck work :(

    I have problem that my rear door windows are not working, and rear and trunk locking i think wires are fine, where should i look next?

    In mine its not fuse i alr replaced 2 times and ialso batery keyfob but nothing

      Sounds like it could be mechanical... a linkage come apart?

      Check your fuse number 38. If both windows and central locking went out at the same moment you probably have a bad central locking pump which is eaaaasy to install but kinda expensive. If it is not the fuse nor the central lock pump then no clue, good luck!

      I just notice mine also not working 2 days ago i change battery i check fuses are all ok but still nthg i think i have issue with control module under steering wheel
