- We went with street edge lowering kit on this toyota and to be honest it seems exactly the same as the belltech kit. Forgot to mention that the wheels we installed are 14" Enkei wheels wrapped with 185/60 tires.

Thanks for the install video. I found out you can flip the lower ball joint and it will lower it another inch.

I know it’s been a minute since you uploaded but trying to decide if I want the street edge leafs myself. My question is, did you end up getting shorter shocks since the distance between mounts are shorter now? And if you didn’t does your shock bottom out? And what did you do about the bump stop? Cut it or remove all together?
Honestly street edge is the exact same thing as belltech but cheaper price. We did get shorter air adjustable shocks, you can find it on our channel. For the bump stops we cut about 2 inches off
I'm currently looking to lowering my 93 and I like what you did with yours does it ride stiffer? Also do you have a link to the air shocks you got? Cool truck
@rufinolara747 thank you. Not the ride is not rough but the leaf springs are really weak and you cant load much with out it bottoming out. The shocks were purchased on rockauto

@@OXCFilms yea I live in Australia man I picked up a 95 hilux and went around a corner nearly rolled it hahaha so I'm wondering if this will stop that, I sent it into my mechanic he can't find anything wrong must be my driving aye
@grizzlytasbear9716 we added 25mm front and rear sway bars to our other truck and it made a huge difference
Do i gotta change spindles if i add lowering kit? Or was that just ur truck?
It all depends on how you want your suspension to feel. If you just want it for looks you can just loosen the torsion bars a bit and it will lower the truck. If you want it to ride good then the spindles is the way to go
I have a 94 Toy and lowered the front by loosing the torsion bar but dam the ride was a little ruff so I had to raise it a bit.. Did you feel that it made it a comfortable ride with the front lowered spindles you installed?
Not sure because we never drove with just the torsion bar lowered. We have heard that there is a difference

Even though this video is a year later hopefully they got an air compressor. Because after a while it starts to lack on your body due to the fact your in a awkward position trying to break off 🔩 bolts..
We didnt get a air compressor but we did get a cordless impact. Best investment so far.

The wheels were 14" enkeis 14x6. I forgot the tire size. But the truck also had a spacer on it. Thank you

Yes the stopper is from the stock spindles. It is to adjust lock to lock
@@OXCFilms will i have to transfer this over to my new drop spindle? Will be adding belltech drop spindles to my truck tomorrow thanks for getting back
Yes you need to transfer your old one to your new spindles. The first time we the installed spindles we left the adjust how it was on the old spindles but the lock to lock wasnt enough. So we had to go back and turn the stopper all the way in and it is way better.
