What We Do in the Shadows, based on the feature film by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, documents the nightly exploits of vampire roommates Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén), and their vampire bureaucrat acquaintance, The Guide (Kristen Schaal).

Friendship chemistry level: off the charts!
I met Kayvan a few months back, he came up to me and my friends who were sort of nervously eyeing him and in full character, went "Would u like piccies with Nandor?" he's been my absolute hero since.
That is the cutest thing ever
He seems like a kid in a giants man's body who just really wants people to like him and be his friend

All three 'vamps' are, although Kaydan's parents are Persian and Natasia's Greek.
When Nandor said to Lazlow "I take it you have never been to outer space" I laughed so hard. I love his delivery of that line.

Nandor with a british accent is bizare
Because Pandora is a character he plays in the British accent is his real voice. Many actors have real accents that are different from the accents they play on screen.

I just wish the dvds of the seasons were readily available in the UK. The show has been aired in the UK via the BBC and features British actors in the 3 lead roles yet finding “Region 2” versions of the show is rare at best. A shame as it’s such a great show that I know MANY in the UK would love to own in their dvd/BluRay collections.
