So when nador had all that glitter all over himself could we assume that it being for the baron was an excuse for the glitter portrait that he was making??
I just realised that vampires don't like making their familiars into vampires because it would mean that they would stop serving them. Especially Nandor, who literally cannot live properly without Guillermo. All Guillermo would have to do is swear to continue serving Nandor as a vampire of his own accord, ensuring that giving him eternal life would allow them to be together for longer and I'm sure Nandor would do it in a heartbeat.
I feel like that was the initial thought but the more he liked Guillermo's company the more he wished to not give him the actual burden that is to be a vampire- but I feel like in this latter season they are completely ignoring the problematic cause Guillermo's not bugging Nandor about it (cause he is one now) and Nandor is in peace with that- although a little jealous (at first) for Guillermo's lack of attentions BUT WHY AREN'T THEY INTERACTING MORE? I can't wait for the big finale of the season
Waaay back in s01 I had a suspicion that Nandor didn't wanna turn Guillermo bc he sees vampirism as a curse and wants to protect Guillermo. And after s02 & s03 I'm thinking he's afraid that Guillermo will leave him once he's a vampire. Typing that out made me re-sad. ; A ;
And Guillermo says "why do you think I've been living with you this whole time?" right before Nandor tells him he won't turn him, now he has all the more reason to believe he would leave. The whole turning Gail into a vampire thing shows he's okay with turning people, so they can be together. But Gail also left. The poor man has just been abandoned way too many times 😭
Nandor also keeps casually calling Guillermo ‘sweet’, ‘boyish’ and ‘little rascal’, wich sort of indicates that he thinks of Guillermo as someone pure and innocent, who would never do anything truly evil. It also shows that he’s clearly extremely fond of Guillermo. So at first he probably didin’t want to turn him because he didin’t want him to become corrupted (and maybe also because he thought Guillermo would be an awful Vampire), sort of like you secretly wish for a puppy never to grow out of it’s adorable playful phase. But it shifted into Guillermo also becoming a genuine source of Joy for Nandor and he didin’t want him to leave, so he decides to string him along. It’s when their power dynamic started shifting that Nandor is suddenly throwing himself into romance and looking for a mate (who are all either emotionally unavailable and decidedly less ‘innocent’ than Guillermo or flat out entirely romantically unavailable for Nandor), despite being relatively uninterested in that previously. He’s pre-emptively trying to replace Guillermo, so that he won’t be as hurt when Guillermo inevitably leaves him once he’s turned. While he was clearly bullshitting about testing Guillermo with the fight, what he said after - about Guillermo being ready to be turned - was probably genuine. He sees that Guillermo is fine without him and doesn’t need his protection anymore and so he decides to have some fun last moments of travel together and then let him go. I have a hunch that even if Nandor does have romantic feelings towards Guillermo, he probably keeps himself from acting on them, because he doesn’t think of himself as deserving of someone ‘pure’ like Guillermo. Wich is ironic cause I find season 3 Guillermo sort of terrifying.
my favorite scene is when Guillermo comes back to the house after being in Europe with Nadja and when he falls through the floor and Nandor immediately dives down to rescue him 😂❤
Oh my god yes I thought that was so out of character of him but thinking about it he actually was surely pining after a year being alone without Guillermo

@@beebear44 oh yeah taika is a genius. having watched both of those shows recently, i can confirm they're incredible, and if wwdits takes a similar approach to tenderness as ofmd then i know it won't feel out of place at all. wwdits has done a great job so far at working the gentle moments into the comedy, so i'm optimistic ^^
I literally remember the EXACT moment I started shipping them. Season 2 Episode 7, the shot after Guillermo kills Carol and he turns around and the broken broomstick is on Nandor's chest. That was the exact moment the power dynamic changed, that was the moment I started shipping them. I'm on the fence about whether I think the creators will make it canon, but the way it's set up, Season 4 has the potential to be A LOT. Beautiful compilation!!
I think it could be so impactful if they did it correctly and not rushed. It's such a hard dynamic to progress through narratively but I think they could do it if they put time into it. Hopefully, I don't believe they would queerbait this much to no end, especially since Guillermo's all but openly stated that he has/has had a thing for Nandor, Nandor's bi/pansexuality, and due to how much the show has connected with a younger lgbtqia+ audience. All of my hope notwithstanding, they might completely throw a bait and switch and have them part amicably at the end of the series without any serious romantic attachment, and that could be fine as well if they did it with conviction. *ALSO SPOILERS FOR SEASON 4* I don't think they would do the twist with Nandor's wife coming back if they weren't planning on eliciting some sort of romantic plot or conflict between Nandor and Guillermo, especially since they write in so many lines for Guillermo about how Nandor having a wife doesn't bother him. (and the fucking scene where Guillermo's carrying the baby Colin Robinson in the sewers and nandor and him act like weird parents).
@@Molly-tv5sv Now that the first two episodes of Season 4 are out I am leaning more towards thinking they will get together than when I made that initial comment. Nador LOVES Guillermo! The wedding episode with Nandor and Mahwa, Mahwa was made to like everything Nandor likes through a wish, and you see her later on telling Guillermo how much she loves and appreciates him. So much so that she starts kissing him. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
Nandor for being king and having been living for more than 700 years is undertandable that he doesn't want that same fate for Guillermo and just the fact of leaving him for more than 11 years by his side only shows that if it's not love, so he uses this submission and admiration that Guillermo has for him to deceive him about one day turning him into a vampire, 3x10 shows us that Nandor finally has to make a choice since Guillermo is and has always been strong and that yes he can destroy him if he wants to, which I don't want by the way, but I don't lie when I say that I loved seeing the two of them fighting and all that tension/chemistry involved💣😛

the scene where laszlo tells everyone why he actually doesn't want to go back to england was very sweet and heartfelt though and it didn't feel out of place at all to me so i'm not too worried
Tbh though, have faith because Taika just proved that a show can be funny and have romantic and somewhat serious tone to it as well. I understand that this show is a lot different from Our Flag Means Death, but he also knows what he's doing and how to kind of change things up while still keeping a show interesting and good for its' original viewers.
“You just punched Jeremy 🥺”
“Fuck Jeremy! 😠”
Guillermo .. did you kill CArOl
**sobs**
the “…you’re a great familiar” hits
He said it so sincerely and earnestly!! Gawd!!
Beautiful compilation!!
i agree and thank you (●´ϖ`●)
*ALSO SPOILERS FOR SEASON 4*
I don't think they would do the twist with Nandor's wife coming back if they weren't planning on eliciting some sort of romantic plot or conflict between Nandor and Guillermo, especially since they write in so many lines for Guillermo about how Nandor having a wife doesn't bother him.
I don't think they'll get together this season, but based on what we've seen so far, I feel like this season is going to be about Guillermo realizing he can do better than Nandor, and Nandor realizing he actually loves Guillermo.
@@lilycheese4 Season 4 ep 3's "I will think about you every time I use it" twist is leaning that way haha
@@Molly-tv5sv Yeah as soon as I saw that episode I knew they were gonna at least address some feelings this season. I'm excited for where they will go!!
I always thought they were going to bring up the time that the girl Nandor had a crush on basically told guillermo that he has feelings for him, but so far, no luck😢
Someone once mentioned that Guillermo might have the power to turn vampires into humans since he has Van Helsing blood and the show would end with Guillermo and Nandor ending up together as humans and that's all I've been able to think about
that'd be sweet
That would be AMAZING. Reverse vampirism!
Nadja would be pissed 😂
Kayvan’s impression of Guillermo is such talent.
Guillermo's little smile when they underestimate him and it bites them in the ass is EVERYTHING to me.
I love Guillermo so much, he's so much I want in a friend
15:33 “You just punched Jeremy!”
“Fuck Jeremy!”
I love the running joke of how everyone calls Guillermo: little guy, little fker, little rascal, the little one, etc. 😄
I both want them to be together and I hate the idea of them together
Saame
why? lmak
@@alejalalita I think its cause while these two are cute and as much as I would like to see them together. Nandor isnt the best partner he hasnt treated Guillermo well for over 10 years. He takes Guillermo for granted. And he still hasnt fulfilled his promise to make him a vampire.
On the other hand dammit I really like their chemistry.
@@hrltdncer I think a good amount of that comes from Nandor being over 800 years old and a former king. He can be oblivious, but I don't think he actually means anything by it. Sounds like he's been depressed since his harem days too
@@hrltdncer I do agree he really didn't treat Guillermo the best, but I think it's because he's very traditional, also I think it has been an attempt to make Guillermo step up for himself. I personally want them to be together so badly, I think their relationship is getting more balanced and it would be nice to have a queer relationship on TV with two brown men, so I'm rooting for it! Also not all queer stories have to be vanilla and perfect, queer stories can have heavy topics.
such good writing. such perfect casting.
Guillermo is so soft spoken I love it he’s adorable
the rascal scene has to be one of my faves
Haven’t seen the show yet and that voice at 16:58 caught me SO off guard 😂😂😂
just rewatching some of their best scenes before the finale! hope there's either a confession or a realisation 🙏😌
same, guillermo keeps trying to confess but nandor interrupts him everytime 💀
I need them to get together for s4. I feel like nandor's sad boy journey will make him realize.
@@muchachx8067 Fully expect mainstream TV (or even semi-indie tv) to disappoint you, just for your mental health. They're cute but it's right in the spot of "slightly homophobic joking about them being gay and loving declarations but we make sure they say friendship" that says queerbait every time imo
I pray I m wrong but like, don't get ur hopes up
@@Gamerkat10 Did you watch Hannibal? Great slow burn.
@@Gamerkat10 well, I think that you will be glad that it is in fact NOT queerbaiting!
OMG, hearing Nandor speak like Guillermo was hilarious.
"Oh no, you killed a vampire. Very frowned upon among the vampire community."
"Is it?"
I can't with this show :D
the hell hound is my favorite because its a fucking golden retreiver
They got that Bilbo Baggins and Thorin Oakenshield energy.
Guillermo sleeping with his handmade Nandor plushie )::::
I'm here because I can't bring myself to finish the last episode of season 3 but I'm already missing these two
i'm in pain bc of the last episode
I don’t think I’m ever getting over the last ep
Nador LOVES Guillermo! The wedding episode with Nandor and Mahwa, Mahwa was made to like everything Nandor likes through a wish, and you see her later on telling Guillermo how much she loves and appreciates him. So much so that she starts kissing him. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
"It's not gonna last :3"
7:50 that slap was personal
I'm here post-s3ep10... nandermo CZcams compilations are going to be my therapy for the next year until season 4 airs :'))))
7:50 Colin (literally) eating that shit up 😂
"boop" 😭💓
I watch this video whenever I’m stressed
same (*_*)
I just finished this show last night and I can't get enough of these two, thank you for making this
i made this video before that episode came out but i'll probably make a pt2 soon!
@@azamitani6405 I'm very much looking forward to it, if you end up making it! Either way tysm for this one
The fact that this is 23 minutes long makes my heart happy 😊 Thank you for putting this together and sharing!
Guillermo's Gray Eminence shtick with Nandor on the Vampiric Council...he's so devious sometimes
'Nah that's not in my job description' 😊
I am onboard this ship 🚢
i’m flabbergasted right now because i’ve never seen their relationship in that way BUT NOW !! how have i never noticed.. ( i love it though
Nandor is so adorable ngl
ahhh i forgot how close they got in the pilot, that happy anniversary scene makes my gay lil heart so happy
RIGHT?? Why did no one comment on the sheer intimacy of that moment wtf??
"Away hell hound."
I love them so much!
same (●´ϖ`●)
CREEPY PAPER!
Poor Guillermo , he'd be so jealous if he knew what close friends Nandor and Laszlo are when Nadja isn't around. 💔
0:44 not gonna lie, that was very cute.
