Real machined Bevels are usually 0.2-0.3mm large. Unless they are intended for easier assembly. Then between about 1 to 2 mm at 30 degrees. A chamfer on all of those would be about 0.05mm radius. Large bevels like at 10:30 are common on grey cast iron parts.

Love it! Sadly I can not afford to buy hardops/boxcutter, so I was looking for free alternatives. I do know about Advanced boolean addon (ABT) and JMesh Tools, but recently I stumbled upon ND addon (Non-Destructive modeling). While it is not designed as hard surface modeling addon, it offers functionality of one. If you can, I`d like to hear your opinion on it.

i will tell you the secret buddy - if you are modelling something using any add-on - you have to mention about it in the title, deal? it is so fucking annoying to see that this model is done with the help of add-on.. if you want to teach something someone - you have to do it without any side assistance man..

    • @ekvilibrium21

Innhverhur. Budy... r u serious? Addons save a lot of time. Why complicate things??? Don't like your tone Buddy. Ponte is great teacher😉

add-ons are tools, just like blender itself.Using what tools you can grab to get things done is the reason why humans outsmart other species. It's just like smeone teach you to cook, you ask him why this dish is done with the help of stove, why not use flint to make fire, you have to cook without any side assistance...

You must be the smart guy modelling shitty plants for 6 months (like an npc) instead of using botaniq: "look guysssss same qualityyyy, only 6 months, I saved 50 bucks in 6 months!!! 0.277777 dollars everyday, no addons!!!"
