Thanks for your video. I received mine today and your tips are still useful. My S10 S has a Z in the end from Zoom Brakes I think and the buttons to control the scooter are completely different, I have 6 buttons on/off Gears, Horn and Side Lights. The only way to get the headlight on is double click power button (manual says short clic) and then all the lights go on. Everything is lit but still able to use the turn lights. Its weird. ...
The right side lights the power that goes to the side lights on the bottom. I think the little square box has a little fuse in it, but it doesn’t make sense on how the left side is still working. Let the right side side lights they don’t work, but they’re both connected to the same square box And I swapped the wiring around and took the left side lights power and put it on the right and one of the right side lights turned on but only some LEDs turned on because I’m guessing that it shorted out. I’m thinking that it shorted out the both right side on the bottom side lights out
Wanted to see if you know how to change the inside of the steering stem bearings
Hey David. Good Videos. Was thinking about the joyor s10-s, do you recommend it still?
Yes I have had good luck with it still ride me and my daughter on it so I have extra weight on it most of the time
It’s fast enough to get hurt that’s for sure.
I believe the new ones come with color screen and solid tires
mine arrived perfect luckily, just got 2 solid tires im about to install them
Awesome
Please share the link to the solid tires and let us know how they are!
Enjoy
Also looking for the solid tires. Please send link
These are expensive and the weight quite a bit
It’s rotating mass
I was wondering if the spray foam method would work for this… ?
Solid Tire 10 Inch, 10x2.70-6.5 solid tire 70/65-6.5 Scooter Tubeless Puncture-Proof Tire, Explosion-Proof Rubber Solid Tires, Shockproof Design, Super-Grip Wheels Replacement (10x2.70-6.5 tire) a.co/d/7RwmiYT
@@DavidsHowtosReviewsHow are the tires? Does those effect the range a lot?
Awesome dude, very kind of you for making these videos, I am looking at the Joyor s5 or Kugoo kirin G2 pro. Undecided which one more reliable for commuting. I can get the kugoo kirin g2 pro in europe for about 704$ and tje Joyor s5 for 818$. If you had tried the kirin g2 pro please your advice is highly appreciated. Best regards
Never tried that but just so u know the 5 is good only down side it not water proof and has air filled tires
To buy solid is about 54$ each then they need to be installed.
Those are the to main things I think.
@@DavidsHowtosReviews thank you for the reply David, I wish you a great weekend. Regards
@@DavidsHowtosReviews hello, I bought the s5 and already have a flat after a month. can you do a video on how to buy solid tires? changing these tires seems like a pain. thanks!
They are costly and add weight
Someone had issues with the solid
I will just keep mine and swap tubes they are cheap
Basically you get everything off
Put solid in boiling water and with a little bit of dish soap you slide it on and let cool
Great videos, qq are others noticing the s10s in dual drive mode puts much more power to the rear? Also, what are you topping out at, I am seeing 32 mph or so…. Thanks!
I have the new color screen version I think. Everything works aside from a broken bell from shipping, I can live with that. Just seems like the front wheels get much less current/power that the rear, or the motors are acting differently. Say when you make it spin wheels standing off the scooter, the rear spins hard on the floor and the front does not.
Yes I’ve noticed that
But mine has a massive amount of power on front wheel
It tends to spin and the rear I would have to practically jump off the scooter to get rest to spin
I’m getting in 3 just about 40mph
Up hill 28 downhill I stop at 55
It can go faster
@@DavidsHowtosReviews could be weight related too, I’m pushing 220. I was able to hit 35 on flat, just takes some time. Great scooter. Even got the tool for the wheels, need to grab some tubes and tires…
I just need help with my headlights and my brake they turned off. Thanks!
Ck wires in battery box
The wire probably disconnected
I have a few questions I hope someone can answer for me to increase the safety of the scooter, first is a steering dampener, is there any compatible steering dampener out there for this scooter? as the few clips ive been able to scour of it in action they had some pretty bad speed wobble up at speeds I'd like to eliminate that as much as possible, and on the vig website you have mentioned in the past offers one but for a scooter model I don't believe is the same as this one, I believe vigs carbon coby model is their Aesir series... and their dampener says its ONLY compatible for the blade/blade pro series, secondly, if the rear fender is removed, is it possible to fit slightly wider treads/tires or just bigger in general for more stablity?
yeah id like to add steering dampener for it too, propably gonan need some welding so it will need to wait for next winter :S
I just need help on how to bleed the back breaks, everything works ,but thanks breaks aint squeezing enough.
I think you need to lay scooter down with the caliper up
Let the grip contact the floor this way the line has a little angle down.
The black torx screw will be just slightly the highest point of the caliper
If not twist the bars just a little so the that the torx bolt is highest point
Then crack the bolt losse a little at a time till very slight oil comes out.
U may need to squeeze the lever just a little bit, but do not release lever till you tighten the torx bolt.
Test and if needed repeat.
Very small amount at a time
@@DavidsHowtosReviews thanks brotha, will do,love the scooter its fast plus adding the seat to it also,God bless.
Have you found an index for all the ‘P’ codes in the settings menu?
No not yet
Hey man I wonder if you can make a video talking about the right side side lights because I just took it off the charger the S 10 S I go outside and turn it on and I hear a pop sound and I’m like what is that and then I’m looking at the scooter and to find out the right side side, lights the front on the back on the side it’s not working no more I pulled all the wires out just to see if anything was burnt or it was out of place everything looked internally OK that’s the only issue that I’m having with it so far I feel like it’s this little square box and it’s wires going to it and I feel like that little square box they made a pop, sound and shorted something in the little box and another thing is the left side lights are still working, but the right is not
I would say you are correct
I would think there are fuses in that box
Or “fuseable link”
Once pops it need to be cut out and new one soldered into place.
You can just jump the electric off of one of the lights that work to make it easier on u.
@@DavidsHowtosReviews yeah I am just thinking that like you said again, it’s a little black box square box with tiny wires going into it, and it always told me that that little box only controls the lights so it Hass to be there because I did check the power from the other side lights and plugged it into the left and it started working but some of the LEDs was burnt out and the other one did not just work completely so yeah I think it’s just the little black box with the wires going into it and I’m pretty sure I need to sidelights because they’re burnt out

I just opened my S-10 scoot and out of the box the back brake light doesn’t work. Any ideas? 🤷🏼♂️
With that definitely check the connections for brake levers
And there in the battery box for the connections.
Definitely check to see if there is a plug in the back of the light.
Thank you! One of the plugs was disconnected up around the brake levers I plugged it back in but still not working. 🤔
Check at the light itself if you can
See if it’s like the headlight and has a water proof plug
This is the last thing I’m going to say lol only what I think that I did wrong is on how I charge it because first I plug the scooter into the charger and then I put the whole charger in now I’m only plug in the scooter in and then plug in the charger into the outlet. I don’t know maybe that I have to do something with it.
The scooter has to be off
Charger should be plugged into the wall then plugged into the scooter.
Ok ok yeah because I used to plug it into the scooter first and then plug it 🥲
@@DavidsHowtosReviews ok so why does it have to go in that pattern? Is it because on how they build the electronics for the scooter?
@@DavidsHowtosReviews I was looking all around for the S 10 S breakdown. If you don’t know what I mean I’m talking about taking the scooter all apart and going piece by piece to explain the factory wiring and on certain things that you need to know what changing the tire swapping any little piece on here and stuff like that I know that’s a lot to ask for that but that was just on my mind
So I tripped on my charger and broke the adapter that goes to the scooter. Did you notice an inline fuse on the charging port wire when you took it apart? And if so how many amps?
My handlebars are loose. I can turn left and right and move the handlebars without the wheel turning
Tighten the center bolt
@DavidsHowtosReviews the 2 bolts under it are whats loose. I got new bolts because the factory ones stripped from applying too much force. The new ones are cranked down tight, I may get a new top bolt and crank that one tighter before it strips
@@DavidsHowtosReviews getting ready to go for my 1st ride... wish me luck!
You can also try to throw some gorilla glue in between the two parts the reassemble and tighten.
Or shim it if possible
Hi ,the video is great. Can i invite you to shoot video for us. and we can give you discount code for your customers, and you can also get commissions.
If you have a unit for scooters I would love to do videos on it.
Especially if it corrects the throttle response on speed 3 it’s very bad on scooters.
