There's so much safety in going through a book verse by verse. When we got to Mark 10 we simply had to say "we've been in this book for months, so I'm not picking on anyone we knew we were coming here"!

Steven Lawson has said, "If it's not expository is it Christian?" They may be pretty tough, but there's a lot to think about there. I love expository preaching and preach that way as well. I like what Costi said at the beginning, "Its like excavating." True. The root word is expose. We get to expose what the text really means in context.
My wife and I love to do Expository word study on words . After coming out of Word Faith learning words like authority and putting in context on how it's intended to be and simply the word 'ask' word faith takes those scriptures of ask it shall be given but they don't use it in context . Learning how the bible is intended to teach us is exciting even since 08 when the Lord took us out.

Was just doing that with my wife and she’s now getting a different type of view and able to understand scripture by not rushing the text but carefully going through scripture. Am far blessed but my big problem now as a young man who desires the office of leading a church but in South Africa 🇿🇦 doesn’t have many churches that move focused on scripture, it’s so hard to find one
