the concept for heartbreak anthem was inspired by Angela Carter's infamous 1984 novel "Nights at The Circus" a magical realism feminist tale about freedom. Jade, Leigh-Anne, and Perrie are the winged fatales, an all singing all dancing trio who perform night after night to adoring crowds whilst backstage they feel trapped and alone. As we journey through the narrative, the Seafox Galantis logo becomes a symbol of liberation that glitches on screen as Little Mix find happiness in their own skin. The video touches upon the pressure of fame and heartbreak evoking a message of self- acceptance against the backdrop of a Sci-Fi burlesque world. (source: the director).

1. I love what you said about the approach about heartbreak being something you can be joyful/relieved about - their CHART-TOPPING, massively successful single "Shout Out To My Ex" is exactly that (Perrie - the blonde in all of the videos was engaged to Zayn (from 1D) and after their terrible break up this song was released in 2016) -- please react to it AND the live performance of "Shout Out To My Ex at The Brits" --- you can maybe even do it in one video, you won't regret it!!
2. The triangle symbol is actually to represent Little Mix! They used it as their main symbol on their last album and tour LM5 - the triangle symbol represents women empowerment and femininity
3. The cat is Galantis' symbol and I think they put it in conjunction with the triangle to represent this collaboration
4. now that we are talking about breakup, you should react 'shout out to my ex' by little mix. they all ended relationships almost at the same time and made this song for their exes. including zayn malik, who was engaged to perrie edwards (the blonde one) and cheated on her and broke up with her by text.

Firstly, zayn denied the breaking up over text, not to mention Perrie changed the story of the breakup being over a phone call to a text. I don't know about the cheating, I am a zayn fan much more than a mixer, and I know it must have hurt Perrie tremendously, but it also did so for zayn as well I'm sure. I think it was hardship for him during 2014-15 especially with an eating disorder and anxiety that led to his relationship with her breaking down, and i assume they both were very busy in their bands so couldn't reconnect properly. But I am glad he cut ties with her as it all worked for the best for both of them, who are now in stable relationships and much happier. That's why I can't understand those that prefer Zerrie, as at the end of the day I ship people's happiness. Also, I love SOTME anyway so we got great songs from the breakup :) I didn't know they all ended relationships nearly at the same time though.
