this is some great detective work ..the details make Graceland come to life!..i love all the stories about the photos the yearthey were taken and things going on at the time..thanks truly enjoyed..sharing to fb
Hi Ashley, yet another winning episode. Love all the great detective work that you do for us fans. First visited Graceland in 1989! After all these years i still look forward to hearing things about the great home. Looking forward to a great many more episodes in the future. superb detective work.
Such an interesting video Ashley, so cool to learn all the differences Graceland has went through. I do wish, however, that they would put things back as close as they could to the last time Elvis would have seen it. It's a beautiful home now and I love it, but it would be really special if it was as was in 1977. Oh the goosebumps!!! Cool that they brought back the blue drapes in the music room and the white piano. I so love Secret Graceland, you always knock it out the park Ashley!
I totally know what you mean and I feel the same way - I'm going through the museum to see Elvis's world, not the most perfect version. But from a museum's standpoint I understand they transform them to their heyday. Thank you Brenda! 🕵🏻♀️⚡️
@@ashleysadventures I guess you are right Ashley. Just funny how that works. lol At least they still have most things and we can still see it somewhere, if not in the house.
Ashley Drew you are a true detective ! I really enjoy all these really kool, fun facts you do on "Secrets of Graceland". I think it would be really kool to see Graceland the way Elvis saw it last. Thanks again.
Thank you for sharing with us. I think the living room should of stayed with the red. I don't know why it was changed to all whote. I am a Elvis fan for life.
I’m a huge fan of elvis Presley’s and I love 💕 his music and flims too elvis will always be the king 👑 of rock and roll 🎸 my dream is to visit Graceland and communicate with elvis 7:35pm
BRAVO Ashley!! 👏👏👏. Great job! I so wish they would put things back the way they were when Elvis last saw his beloved Graceland. Whatever happened to his GOLD piano that Priscilla had covered in 18 kt. as a gift? It was in the Nashville Hall of Fame Museum for awhile. We saw it there many years ago. Just wondering where it is today? If anybody knows, I know you do! 🕵️♂️ TCB 🕺👑⚡️
I know, things Elvis would not recognize or possibly even like. Even moving things from one place to another. Elvis would be like move it back to where I had it. Sometimes I think those in charge of historic places are more concerned with what they would choose if this was their house instead of preserving what was there.
I love all you do . In thank Billy and Trey . you all ..rock in your own way I loved elvis but without sweet Ashley we would not have some of these stories I am the same with buddy Holley and Waylon
Elvis would love these updates! Times change and Elvis even changed and updated things himself! Love the desk given as a gift for “Blue Hawaii” and organ. The new chandeliers are gorgeous too! I’m sure nothing has been thrown out, but chandelier electrical wiring does get old and needs to be updated; probably the need for new chandeliers. Elvis wasn’t the original owner of Graceland and this needs to be considered too.
Great info Ashley i always enjoy watching your videos. I'm from louisville ky i wanna be an Elvis presley historian like you guy's I always studying about he's life. #Tenebroso
I love seeing all the different ways Graceland was decorated and what remains still today Do you know if the movie this is Elvis Is still available? was it ever finished ? Hi Ashley - I love and appreciate all the work and research you do. I have a question for you; We all know the kitchen was redecorated in 1974. Do we have any pictures of what it looked like previously? I've searched, but I haven't found much other than a possible recreation in the movie Elvis and Me when Priscilla was in the kitchen at night. The kitchen is a pretty elusive creature prior to 1974, it seems. I figured if anyone outside of EPE might know, it would be you! Thanks!
Thank you!! There is a description but unfortunately no clear photos yet. I discuss the original kitchen in this video: czcams.com/video/3MjRODBEsHI/video.html Hope that helps!
Great attention to detail Ashley - and - it DOES matter to any Elvis fan or aficionado! I was first in Memphis and went to Graceland (Gates only) in 1979 and then again in 1982 - and - I haven't been back since. Back then Memphis was a relatively "safe" city - however - I have heard that that element has drastically changed? Although I gather they would have had a lot of time since then to commercialize and improve the "Elvis element" throughout the city (Sun Records, Lauderdale Courts,, and Graceland et al)? I do have one question - where is the Elvis Radio station located?
Another great video, Ashley! Another great good job! Thank you! But I still prefer read the spanish text as it used to be, not in subtitles way. The text as it was I could read on my way and rithym, and It's not possible to do in subtitle way (also it changes too fast for me).
I keep asking on other Elvis vids but we're was all the old couches furniture and everything else kept after the remodel in 74 also were is the 1974 stuff at now the red carpet and furniture.

The front brick wall by the guard house you can see where people chisel away at the bricks you wonder how it's done with the guard Hut right behind it

Donna Presley Early , tem fotos dela com elvis?
Tem uma foto em preto e branco dele no quintal com dois filhos, Donna diz que é ela e a irmã
I keep asking on other Elvis vids but we're was all the old couches furniture and everything else kept after the remodel in 74 also were is the 1974 stuff at now the red carpet and furniture.
Trophy building held a bunch of stuff in the 70s and 80s, probably mostly there
It's a shame you could see right away once inside this place is not original at all they Redone everything
We toured before Priscilla redecorated to her taste. She should have left it like the way it was when Elvis died. She destroyed Elvis's taste.
Actually it was changed to it’s peak years - 1957 through 1960s - as is common with homes turned museums ie. Mount Vernon
@@ashleysadventures still wasn't original to the day Elvis died. Linda Thompson had redecorated to his preference. Gawdy and I
Right and I’m explaining why EPE changed it, it wasn’t to Priscilla’s tastes it was for tourism
