  • This is the electronic press kit that was made to promote Geddy Lee's My Favorite Headache album in 2000. I'm trying as hard as I can not to upload stuff that's already on youtube but in this case I just realized that the copy that's already up is in a much lower resolution compared to the one I have. So, enjoy!

The man literally wrote the book on heavy rock music bass playing, as well as set the standard for live on stage multiple instrument playing. Not even to address singing, other than Robert Plant, or maybe David Surkamp (Pavlov's Dog, for the uninitiated) that can ever touch him!!!

Geddy's solo album is absolutely FANTASTIC! I did not know what to expect. I hoped that it was not simply another RUSH album but was still melodic and rockin' with great melodies and hooks. It is ALL of that and I was NOT disappointed. "My Favorite Headache" is an excellent album. If I recall correctly, the title refers to a conversation that Geddy was having with a man that had been married a very long time. When asked how he felt about his wife, he said something like: "Well, I do love her dearly, but sometimes she drives me crazy. She is my favorite headache!"
