- Coming in 2024, guests at SeaWorld Orlando will be able to trek through the Ice on Penguin Trek!
SeaWorld describes the ride as a "An unforgettable family launch coaster adventure through the breathtaking vastness of Antarctica. Board your snowmobile and race along with your expedition team at up to 43 miles per hour, navigating twists and turns and narrowly escaping the crumbling hazards of an icy cavern. Reach the end and you’ll make the ultimate discovery: a real penguin habitat! This new indoor/outdoor family ride is the most immersive addition to the Coaster Capital of Orlando, and with a height requirement of just 42”, it’s the perfect journey for families to share."

Channel artwork designed by Casie Jo Johnson! @blockbrakes
i love how coaster enthusiasts managed to get the layout decently accurate
Very nice.
It certainly helps having official footer plans!😄
@@MLDesignsOn top of that, there is only so much you can do without making it high thrill.
Ahh I’m so ready to Waddle into 2024 to ride this coaster!🐧
Everybody gangsta til Club Penguin music plays in the queue and everyone does the goofy dance
@@Sauci55on bro they need to do that
They really turned this place into something great! It was nothing like this back in '09 lol
those restraints look amazing so glad it has only a lapbar
The new b&m capital! All we need is for them to be the block zone capitol
I remember the day when there was only one b&m coaster there.
What's a block zone?
@TimeWarperr-nq4sb and journey to atalantis
@@micoasterswait actually great adventure is still the b&m capital since they have more track length for b&m coasters
Now that’s called Disney
Oh wow, a new family coaster from B&M :O This is something we haven't seen in a while. Also those trains scream MACK or Intamin multi-launch coaster trains.
Yeah, it's weird seeing B&M trains with 2 across seating.
I’ll tell u what I’m extremely excited. These trains look really comfortable and the layout looks really solid.
You know they still reeling from the Ice Breaker height requirement fiasco when height is the first thing they list
This actually looks way better than I was expecting. Looks to be a cool addition
It's really cool seeing B&M branching out into new markets. Really makes you think who'll get the next one of these.
These new-gen clamshell over the shoulder lapbars look amazing and I hope these replace those horrible vests on the dives inverts and wings!
There’s no way he included dives for this 😅
Agreed these won't be on Dives...however wondering if his thought process was coming from Gerstlauer having lapbars on some of their coasters?? But even then B&M would prob have to add some sort of leg guard/restraint so I dunno. But it's not happening lol
@@revived2036 Dives give great airtime on the drops and have some nice airtime hills sprinkled in throughout the layouts; yet you can't feel any of it because of the horrific restraints
@@mattr3922 maybe. The thing is though, it makes sense for why the dives have ostr. After all, it’s thing is that it hangs you from the drop. Doesn’t sound very comfortable having your body fold over
@@revived2036 alot of modern coasters are doing it....Hangtime being one of them. I just don't see B&M ever doing it. There's no need for it.
Gah damn. Busch/SW has been knocking it out of the park of late.
SeaWorld Orlando is B&M’s playground at this point 💀
Something about all the music and hype leading to the big words *42” HEIGHT REQUIREMENT* got me chuckling.
Beautiful trains
This looks like a mack family, and those baby’s are really good (look at manta at San deigo) hopefully this one will be the same
B&M and sea world name a more iconic duo
Im happy they got an actual roller coaster and not a flat ride like most parks are getting. Can’t wait to ride this next year in the summer.
Isn’t sea world Orlando almost entirely coasters at this point though?
This park has a crush on B&M
Random park: I'd like to purchase a b&m please
B&M: well, let us take you to Florida and show you our entire line of offereings^.^
A few months ago I’d say “this looks like a great roller coaster to ride with my wife because she’s not into them” since then we rode Gwazi, Sheikra, Superman, wicked cyclone, dark knight and whatever the inverted at SFNE is called now. By the way, that invert is fun as hell and didn’t hurt me one bit. She doesn’t like to go upside down, but still got on Gwazi (the most intense ride I’ve ever felt) and I’m afraid of heights, so every lift hill is a panic attack! I love it!
Minus Mako and Surf Coaster this looks extremely fun!
Now THIS is the real project penguin :>
I cant wait to see this model as a full-size thrill roller coaster. Hopefully at Kings Island
I work at Antarctica at Sea World Orlando I believe one thing that wasn't added to this video is the max speed would be 44mph we're currently watching them build on this and it's been fun to watch. The theme of the ride that was told to me was you're in antarctic as apart of a research team so they have the theming down pack. At least for now if you want to come see us we simply have the penguin exhibit open but soon in the spring we should have the coaster in operation and we're looking beyond forward too it as well!
thank god there not building another huge coaster this is what seaworld needs *Family matters*
Sea world just can’t get enough of B&M, can they?
BGT is catching up with Phoenix Rising, a family invert.
The trains look like Schwarzkopf trains from the front, which I love!
Don’t mean to be the doubter in the room but I hope da outside or inside will be themed good;)
Please theme the exterior.
My dad is working on this roller coaster
They now means that seaworld Orlando will be tied with sfgadv for most b&m’s, now that seaworld will have mako, kraken, manta, pipeline, and this
big penguin mountain
The coaster nerds in here 🤣
I went to Seaworld at summer and saw the plot of land and guessed it was gonna be a family coaster and here’s what happened😂
As a Canadian, we need a Skidoo themed Coaster at Canada's Wonderland...
With all the new ride models, and not proven attractions, Honestly you have to think did b&m give them a discount like a bulk deal on there new concepts?
Penguin Trek!
_Who doesn't like Penguins?_
trains remind me of the zierer drop track ones
Can’t wait! 🐧🐧
Awsome
The track looks kinda more like the track on Vekoma’s family coasters.
I guess american family rides are the rage now Vekoma with Soap Boxes Racers at Kings Island, RMC with Fire In The Hole at Silver Doallr City (more of a dark ride don't care though) and B&M with Pheonix Rising at BGT and this. I'm calling it Zamperla's next (RMC though still shocked)
Doesnt look like it has any loops or did i miss it
Another coaster?
Almost dropped my phone in dishwater when I saw that you posted hoping it was different content. Lol.
Hey, were you at the media event?
No. I wish. I had to work.
What day the penguin trek will open
This will be better if it’s a surf coaster
Ah they have one
Already.
Sorry I was thinking about the wrong park
It that they're replacing Empire of the penguin with?
Yes
Didn't they just get a new b&m this year?
Yes, yes they did.
I guess they bought coasters in bulk. I know Intamin discounts rides when they're bought in bulk
W
so what's after this? A B&M Giga lol
I sure hope
They already have a hyper so probably unlikely
All these rides/Layouts are starting to look the same to me 🤷🏽♂️ This one looks like a single version of West Coast Racers
This is a family coaster. WCR is not.
is this gonna save the penguins
TBH I thought it was a suspended family coaster, not the traditional sit down version of a family coaster
That’s Busch Gardens Tampa.
Thats a little too scary for me. El Toro’s got nothing on that!!
Seems like an intamin to me...
42in height requirement is a weird thing to brag about. Not sure what that even means. Does it mean smaller kids can go on it?
Ah okay I missed the part in the description that this was a family coaster. I'm not against having more relatively calm coasters in the world as I'm getting older and super intense is getting to be too much for more than one ride at a park.
"family ride"
"42in height requirement"
🤔🤔🤔
Is this b&m second ever launch coaster... not including the hulk lol thats a lift the way its angled/enginnered. Also at least 2nd ever in US if not the world? bout time. Dropped the ball on layout but thats normal family coaster attempts...
Third. Holiday World’s Thunderbird.
fine 2nd ever LSM... hulk is more of a lift but fan boys can cry all they want... is mavericks lift hill a launch? Its got real LSMs... hulk is not a launch lmao.@@DoswarePictures
Can yall just bring back wild artic 😒
Their last 3 new coasters have been “family” friendly. Not really thrill rides per se.
Hoping you can skip this and still see the Penguins
This better have on-ride audio......
I’m preventing five yr olds from saying first EDIT: thank god the few people before me didn’t say first 😅
Sea world needs to chill bro
Please no more coasters after this. Would like to see a few flat rides if there's still any room. They need to work on the ops before they can add something else.
why do we keep getting these boring family coasters bru
Please do not support this park.
Boring
What date is it opening
