- What's up guys welcome back to a brand new video! I finally replaced the Dunlop tires on my Honda CBR 650R for something much better, the Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV. I wanted to give you guys some of my first thoughts on those tires. I also wanted to get to lean the bike more to test out the tires, unfortunately I didn't have too many opportunities this time, but you can stay tuned for the next video in some twisties!
I hope you guys enjoyed this one, and if you did, please hit that like button and don't forget to subscribe! I'll see you boys next week, peace!

Got a set of rosso iv recently. Definitely very great tyres. Very Flickable, much confident in my riding. Warm up very fast
Nice! They're definitely way better than stock, you get more confidence in turns and the grip is just better
@@MotoSquidYT yeap yeap. No regrets!
In fact am contemplating to go for the new Power 6 or even Power GP2 at almost similar price (promo for the Michelin).
Sourced around for user experience and was told Michelin Power 5 (since Power 6 just too new in the market) kinda meh compared to Pirelli Rosso series.
Meanwhile Power Gp2, I doubt I can utilise the full performance especially the narrower working temperature since my riding speed was relatively moderate and on the road only (as commented by some of the riders outside)
@@minc3 that might be a good choice too, looking at the tread, I'd say the Power 6 tires could be somewhat close to the Rosso 4's and the Power GP2 would be probably be even more "track" focused than Rosso iv Corsa.
I don't think you would be able to use the full potential of the GP2 tire on normal streets, you'll also sacrifice some grip in the rain since these tires are more meant for dry trackday rides.
So, I'd say the best thing is to have two sets of tires, one sporty-ish set for the street (rosso 4's, power 5 or 6, road 6, s22 etc.) - good all around grip in most conditions. And then have a designated set just for the track, something like the Power GP2 would be great for some extra confidence. You can still take a sportier tire like the normal Rosso 4's for a track day, you'll run them down quick but they'll be just fine. You don't need much better tires unless you're really really quick✌️
Hey bud. What are you thinking about them?
I have the stock Dunlop D214s and need to get rid of them. They slide like ice sometimes lol. You still recommend these?
Brand new tyres and that’s what you call “taking it easy” ?! LOL!!
It wasn't a chill ride, but I didn't really lean the bike over. So I guess I was taking it easy from that perspective😂
shame about the angle, but nice to see you back
I fixed it in the next video this Thursday✌️
.. can't go wrong with Pirellis
Great tires for sure👌
How tall are you? Im thinking about getting this one but dont know how it would feel and look as a tall rider.
I'm around 6 feet 4 inches and fit perfectly fine and don't look stupid sitting on it either😂 Always at least sit on it, and if possible, take it for a ride to get a feel for it✌️
I'm about 6'2 and I fit perfectly on mine.
@@Haze420_za also 6'2 and i fit it great, looks completely proportional.
I'm 6' exactly, and have the same bike (2023). Fits well.
Lane splitting is illegal here in the states. But even if it wasn't, I still wouldn't do it. Soooooo unsafe. If you want to run like that, get on a track.
How much did the tyres cost thanks
They were around €340 for both😁
@@MotoSquidYTgreat deal honestly, my rear tire alone was 252 euros at my local shop 😂 but they’re really fresh (like 2 month old production)
Great great tire honestly, could NEVER go back to those stock shitlop’s
@@stfu6397 I think there was a better deal when you pick up both at once, plus I paid around €60 to get them replaced.
I like them a lot too, maybe I'll try out the Corsa's next, just to compare. I'm already editing another video where I test these out more in the twisties so stay tuned for that!
Did you add a license plate light? because I got the same tidy
Did you get your tail tidy from Flip n Dip? I had the option to add the license plate light, I wanted the bike to look as "legal" as it can be so I don't keep getting pulled over for small dumb things😂
@@MotoSquidYT Yes I got it now for almost a year, but still didn't install it. But thanks for the information
@@hurizano2391 Go install it, it looks pretty good and you can flip it whenever you want😁 if you have bigger EU license plates, it might hit your rear tire when you try to flip it back.
@@MotoSquidYT Haha I will soon before summer, I got a '22 MT 07 with dutch plates so normally It should fit perfect
@@hurizano2391 Sounds good, that should fit fine👌
I don't know if you're doing it on purpose but those "woo's" are so annoying for me. I'm talking about these at: 8:11, 8:29 or 8:53.
My bad, I'll try and get rid of em a bit, they're kinda out of enjoyment i guess😂 at 8:29, I was scared that the truck would pull out more, causing me to crash, so that "woo" could be reasonable lol
This would be a great channel without the "woo's" and "let's go boyzzz"
@@LTCB650R I gotchu, Imma try and get rid of em✌️
Do you have any consideration for other drivers? You're not on the race track and you're playing loosely with other people's lives.
