    Not too many DJ You Tubers talk about the DJM-750 or the XDJ 1000 MK2. They along with Pioneer want you to spend money on the high-end DJ equipment which I feel is unfair. Especially, when we are going through a pandemic and DJs are not gigging as often as before. This means for some, no income coming in. I am glad Pri yon Joni is bringing these DJ equipment to the surface. We need to know there are options!!

    i have mk3 Pioneer cdjs and if i had the space i would still use them.Also the four channel mixers from Pioneer have great build quality and will last a long time so you get really good gear thats a few years old really cheap.You may still find gear like this in smaller venues or in secondary dj booths in larger clubs and Pioneer often makes incremental changes to a lot of their gear so your skill set can transfer more easily.

    Hi there I have the same set up, I bought the 750 as I mix with vinyl as well, and on several reviews it says that it has the better sound quality than other mixers on the market. I think both the mixer and xdjs are responsible priced, but all I can say is do your research and listen to all the reviews. I think I have had a result. Really recommend

    Thanks for your videos, they are really good. Regarding to dj controller ddj-1000 vs standalone xdj-xz or other, is the sound quality the same?. I understand both of them work with digital signals so it doesn`t change or it is hope the sound quality will be better in the standalone.

  • @XanceMRevola
    @XanceMRevola Před 4 lety +3

    If I recall correctly, the 40 KHz (or 44.1or 48 or 96) is actually more of an audio resolution number. If you take twice as many samples per second as the maximum range of human hearing, you can identify any frequency being recorded from just two samples.
    I think it's the Nyquist-Shannon theorem? Technology Connections did a pretty good video about it.

    • @priyonjoni
      @priyonjoni  Před 4 lety +3

      If we are talking about the values 44.1khz, 48khz, and 96khz, it refers to Sample Rate. When I was speaking about 40khz, I was referring to Frequency Range.

    • @priyonjoni
      @priyonjoni  Před 4 lety

      The USB-B port on the rear is for use with DJ software and audio interface connectivity with a computer. You can use it with Rekordbox. You can assign it in Traktor. You cannot use it with Serato since it is not a Serato supported product as mentioned in the video.

    Actually considering getting this mixer for my two Denon SC5000. Don't like the Denon mixer and love the Pioneer effects and Filter with parameter knob. Also the RMX1000 would integrate much better than in my current DJM800 mixer. Also the missing ProDJ link is not an issue when you anyway use it with Denon players. ;)

      @@35ozgur I actually got now XDJ XZ. It's a strage combination with Pioneer and Denon but I actually like it and I have real four standalone decks + NXS2 like Mixer for a good price. But of course it is confusing as the denon and Pioneer Players are not connected so working completely independent (no Sync possible, not even beat counter of the master deck) and you can not see which tracks you have played on the "other" decks.
