    I just found your site. Fantastic info. Getting back into this after about a decade. I’m retired and it’s time to make my ‘66 SO 42 happy. I’m sure I’ll have more inquiries...

    Maybe a rear torsion inner/outer explanation and demonstration someday?

    • @WideFive
      @WideFive  Před 4 lety +1

      Absolutely! It's on the short list! Definitely a confusing and frustrating issue if you've never done it before. Sometimes it still is even afterwards, ha, ha. Plan on showing my method for setting rear ride height. No angles, protractors or any of that witchcraft, ha, ha.

    do you have to install the dust caps? the wolfgang kit that i installed has the dust caps and the caps are touch the spindle.

      Yeah, that's pretty common with Wolfgang spindles. They machine the king pin to accept the dust caps but don't clearance enough. Double check to make sure they are seated all the way though. You do not need to run them. Just grease your front end every time you do an oil change.

    I watched your videos several times to solve my problem with the spindle drivers side. Better then any manual. On my bus (original Belgium 11 window 1965), no dropped spinddles, the adjustable tie rod is on the right side, probably a mistake in the garage from many years ago. Is it better to change it or does it make no difference?

      Thanks for watching, Eric! Glad I could help you out! No problem at all having an adjustable tie rod on the passenger side. Pretty common for both to be adjustable after being through the hands of several mechanics. Having two adjustable ones actually makes doing the alignment a little easier, in my opinion 😉 Take care, stay healthy and Happy New Year!🎉

    Great video. Does it push the tire out any where a certain size tire is required or mods needed to clear the tire from the body ?

    • @WideFive
      @WideFive  Před 4 lety +1

      They actually narrow the track width by 20mm. Largest tire I've known people to get away with on a stock Bus rim is 195/60r15 Nothing I sell requires any body modifications 👍
