At the end of June 2024, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Infectious Disease and Director of the Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy Kaye Hayes spoke with Francisco Ruiz, the Director of the White House Office of National AIDS Policy (ONAP). The new ONAP director shared his priorities, message, and call to action with everyone involved in the HIV response. Centering the community and remembering the humanity of the work are central to the director's priorities.
