HIV.gov works to expand the visibility of timely and relevant federal HIV policies, programs, and resources to the American public and increase knowledge about HIV and access to HIV services for people with or experiencing risk for HIV.

The program is part of the Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy, in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
