- The Foundry Virtual Tabletop team is proud to share the long-awaited release of Kingmaker for Pathfinder 2nd Edition!
The Kingmaker Adventure Path presents a full-length campaign that chronicles the rise of a new nation-a kingdom built and ruled by your player characters! Face off against bands of bloodthirsty bandits, deadly and dangerous monsters, and mysterious menaces from other realities as you fight to claim the Stolen Lands as your own. Will you rule with justice and mercy, or will you become the very monsters you fought to oppose? In the Kingmaker Adventure Path, the destiny of the world’s newest nation is yours to decide!
Pathfinder: Kingmaker for Foundry Virtual Tabletop will be released in two parts, with the first part releasing on September 27th. The remaining content will release before the end of 2023 as a free update, and will include all remaining Kingmaker content at no additional expense.

- An all new, high-resolution map of the Stolen Lands, beautifully reimagined by Damien Mammoliti! (Available only for Foundry Virtual Tabletop)
- Custom Hex Exploration tools for GMs and players, allowing GMs the ability to edit hexes to change features of the stolen lands map, with features only being revealed to players when the GM allows!
- Exclusive, highly detailed and immersive adventure maps for every map included in the Kingmaker: Adventure Path book. Each lovingly re-created by Narchy Maps and Alaustin using assets from Forgotten Adventures.
- Remastered versions of region maps for key locations (including Varnhold, Pitax, Drelev, and more) digitally upscaled for use on a VTT!

This was an absolute pleasure to work on! Super excited to have contributed to an amazing product like this. Kudos to the Foundry team for making the best premium content out there!
Amazing job bro!
I hope those Hexploration tools become a feature!
Man I need to understand how they built the Hexploration Module. I really want to do stuff on my own with a similar tool.
Yes!! That's such a cool tool!
This is absolutely awesome, big props to everyone that worked on it! ♥
Can't wait to run it for my groups! ⚔✨
You're Pathfinder 2e modules are always so full of so much content, its a steal even at full price.
Easiest purchase ever. Thank you Foundry, Paizo, and the Pathfinder Volunteer devs! Your work is appreciated!
This is one of the greatest TTRPG campaigns ever. Can't wait to run this for my group!
Going to be our first pathfinder campaign, thanks to all who made this happen
Enjoy! A lot of love went in to this. 💚
Looks absolutely phenomenal
This is amazing! Great work both Foundry and Paizo!
A new nation shall rise, while those around it shall fall.
Fantastic work FVT. Congrats to everyone who worked and is working on it still.
Absolutely amazing!
Amazing addition to Foundry.
This is a smart way to release it, because there is SO MUCH STUFF. Definitely excited about this!
Finally! Woop woop! Party!
Played around with it a bit yesterday and it s really great as far as I already checked. Love it.
Got my hands on it today an started messing around with it a bit. I have a lot to learn, but I will now be able to utilize Foundry on my Table top TV for battle maps, pictures, world map and tons of other things too! Excited!
This looks incredible. I had a blast designing my own campaign for my mates during covid. Will have to get back into this one day.
Great work guys!
¡Hi!
Awesome work! Two questions:
Will it include the Kingmaker´s Companion Guide?
Also, will it include the Kingmaker´s 5e bestiary?
I already own both products, but I dont mind buying them again for integration in Foundry, just wondering if they will be available :)
Think I answered this on the Paizo forums too :V but: doesn't include the 5E bestiary or companion guide, but there are probably free modules that cover camping & weather, and if you own the 5E bestiary already, you can just convert the monsters over to the 5E stats in the book manually. The only real annoyance will be having to map out the companion sidequests.
Nice!! Looks beautiful. I'm waiting for the new remaster set and then will run this as first campaign
I'm really torn on this. On the one hand, I'm super happy that this is being released mere weeks away from me starting a kingmaker campaign, and I'll be happy to use it.
On the other hand, I've spent weeks cobbling together a hodge-podge pile of something in Foundry to get the functionality I need there (relying heavily on some very awesome open source projects to do so). That feels like a lot of wasted time now, but c'est la vie.
In any case, looking forward to using it, and I'm very confident the remaining chapters will be finished before we get there. My group tends to be very slow, methodical, and silly.
I think this product just saved me 2000hrs of prep. :) swoon.
Looks amazing!
wow, will buy it even if i dont play pathfinder !
Wow, this is stunning, ngl! Can't afford it atm, but looks worth every penny!
Awesome!
There should be awards for your level of awesomeness. This collab is always bringing it big time 🔥👏👏👏 cant wait. Also, appreciate the two part-er 🙏
The reward is the money you pay to access it.
@@joeswanson318 I said award 🤷♂️
I hope that other Adventure Paths get similar treatment some day; not to quite the same degree but with some polish. I wish I could afford a subscription at the moment.
I don’t play pathfinder TTRPG, I GM D&D, but damn did loved kingmaker on steam. This entire project is what I try to do in Foundry for my homebrew world but it’s a Herculean task solo. For anyone that GMs games and is interested in Pathfinder this has got to be a steal of the century. Nice work!
This actually uses PF2e, which is surprisingly easy to learn for your players! I would highly suggest it, and since you know the video game it'll feel natural.
This is truly beautiful.
WOOOOOOO!
This looks incredible
YES!!!!
Amazing
As someone who jsut finished running a 4 years, weekly campaign of KM on VTT... noooooooooooo 😅 at least we switch for Foundry for the last book.
Question. Can this module be used with PF1E sheets and rules? I don't mind remaking all the tokens and statting them for 1E but I want to use the maps and everything else. I know it was made for PF2E. I was just curious if I pick this up I can edit it to change tokens to match PF1E instead.
holy shit. That is insane!
You are gods among men!
Hello, I like this program very much and I am thinking of purchasing it. I have a question I'm curious about.
Can I play this game single player mod. (against to AI characters)?
This is cool as Heck but can the shadow of war functionality please please PLEASE be made stock standard on Foundry?
RIP wallet.. PRAISE pf2e volunteers in the Foundry system module
I have a quick question since I have priced this out for physical copy. I am a GM for my kids in person. What I be able to use this for in person play? Other than the pawns it's about $200 cheaper to get the digital version. I do not have a foundry account.
Also if I am just interested in reading through it seems like this is a lot cheaper.
Hey! Foundry has a one time cost for the software, you'd need some kind of digital map set up, either for physical minis or have people log into foundry accounts (they don't need to pay for the software as guests) and manipulate via tablets/laptops but all possible to do in person!
Can I use this module with Savage Pathfinder?
Amazing! I love this campaign. Ran it years ago when the 5e version came out, using darker dungeons rules.
It took a while to 'finish', but it was simply epic.
Are there any plans for a 5e version on foundry?
No plans for a 5E version. The conversion book exists, and the creatures are the only thing you'd need to convert, but you'd have to do that yourself.
That said, if you don't mind a little more prep time with each session to convert the critters over, this would still be playable in 5E provided you do the creature conversion!
@@SpaceDrake ahh shame, that’s me out then. Doing it the first time on pen and paper was work enough, don’t feel like going through it all again. Even if some elements would be easier because foundry is awesome like that, some elements would also harder because foundry is complex! 😂
@@Master_of_Antares I mean. PF2 is right there to try. And it's all set up and ready to go. Hint hint. Wink wink. Nudge nudge. ;)
@@SpaceDrake naaah ive no interest, I tried it but its not for me ^^
Hopefully a 5e conversion comes out one day, kus its pretty expensive to buy it (for the third time) and then have a load of work to do =(
Could I, theoretically speaking, play this in 1e?
What about an official CoC rulebook?
The mastiffs of Tindalos are looking right at you.
(Gotta talk to Chaosium about that one.)
Is there any plan to port this adventure to 5e by the developer? I don't play pathfinder, but if it was also adapted to 5e I would buy it for Foundry.
There are not. A conversion book to 5E exists, and you'd only need to convert the creature stats, but there are no plans to do that on Foundry's side. If you get the 5E book, you can convert it yourself.
Need be in portuguese 😢
I'm new to Foundry and I'm loving the tools and quality of life improvements compared to what I used before. Having said that, paying $100 for this seems too high. AAA games cost $70 and are way more resource-intense than VTT modules.
You finish AAA games in 100 hours (and that's an exception like BG3), you will get way much more playtime from this product. You could say the price is still not directly proportional to the playtime - because you are getting way much more of that for the money compared to your AAA games.
It's really, really not. You're getting the PDF of the book itself as well, and for the amount of labor that goes into a module (really a set of modules) like this, even $100 is a fair price.
(The deep, dark secret is that, especially counting for inflation, videogames are *cheap* these days. Going from US$60 to US$70 is, if anything, a very gentle price increase.)
@SpaceDrake idk man, considering the amount of prep work this saves, plus bonuses... this is more than worth the price tag for the time and energy saved.
I think that ideally you would share the burden with your table. 20 bucks sounds pretty reasonable (assuming it's 1 dm + 4 players).
It's not a video game. The market for this is multiple orders of magnitude smaller.
And supposing you can reach this level of quality by yourself, it will save you a few hundreds of hours of prep time. It then depends on how you value your time and how much you want to experience the features proposed here..
And then there is Roll20. A clunky featureless mess of a VTT XD
