Me woulda do it differently still fi speed ting up as u working against di rain...me would lay a foundation end to end where you have the line , just two long piece a wood strips and make the width as wide as the brick, then poor the cement in the foundation, then just lay lay the blocks in the foundation....Once mi done lay the bricks, mi just tap dem down fi level dem...then remove the strips foundation?
